JW Marriott Hotel Hong Kong

My stay was unremarkable, but the buffet restaurant service truly amazed me! They really focus on fresh ingredients and taste. When they noticed something wasn't quite right with the flavor, they immediately made a fresh, individual portion for me (from the buffet), no questions asked. 👍👍👍 Highly recommend!

Although the hotel is a bit old, the service is still top-notch. It truly lives up to its reputation as a seasoned five-star establishment!

Got a free upgrade to a suite, which was amazing! The food was great too, and I even went to the Fish Bar for a drink at night. The underground connection to Pacific Place is really convenient, especially on a rainy day!

The location is fantastic, and the room decor has a charming, traditional vintage vibe. For Hong Kong, the room size is actually quite generous. The service was warm and attentive, including a turndown service, and they even gifted us Kee Wah Bakery's 'ding ding' tram cookies! The only minor drawback was the breakfast; while there was a good variety, neither the Cantonese nor the Western options particularly stood out.

The room is pretty good, though the decor feels a bit dated. Overall, it's still quite nice. Getting around is super convenient; the elevator goes directly down to Taikoo Hui, and the subway is right there, making both travel and shopping a breeze.

We booked a partial sea view room. Since we arrived at noon, we couldn't get a higher floor, but the view was still decent. We had a child with us, so we added an extra bed, which was very comfortable. The breakfast selection wasn't extensive, but the quality was good. There's a small pool downstairs, and it wasn't crowded.

Right in the heart of Hong Kong's CBD, the bed, by American standards, is a rare find in Hong Kong. The bedding was also incredibly comfortable, giving me the best sleep. This time, the sea view from my room was unbeatable, with panoramic views of the Legislative Council Complex and the Convention and Exhibition Centre. I could lie in bed and enjoy Victoria Harbour both morning and night just by opening the curtains. There's a Michelin-starred restaurant on the third floor of the hotel; it's pricey, but hotel guests get a 20% discount. The hotel is super convenient for getting to Admiralty MTR station. Admiralty shopping mall is right downstairs, though it's a shame most shops close quite early, by 7:30 PM. Getting to the Peak Tram from the hotel is also very easy; it's just a walk through the park. The area is filled with people from financial institutions, giving it a very international and diverse feel.

The room view was absolutely stunning, I could have spent ages just taking photos! The front desk staff were also very friendly and provided warm, helpful service in Chinese. Of course, the price was more than double that of the JW in Chengdu! I'm a regular at the JW gym in Chengdu, so I have a special soft spot for JW. It was a delightful weekend! I'll definitely be back ❤️🔥

Marriott, aside from being pricey, is otherwise flawless. The room is a bit small, but for Hong Kong, that's already quite good! They gave us Kee Wah butter cookies upon check-in, which were really delicious. The location in Central is incredibly convenient; the MTR station is right downstairs, and there's also a mall below, perfect for anyone who wants to shop.
