Had a short stay at The Wharney Hotel. We booked a family room and were quite pleased with the cleanliness, and the shower had strong water pressure. The room size was average, and the bed was soft and comfortable. Complimentary snacks and drinks in the room fridge is a nice gesture. Check-in staff were friendly and even provided us with complimentary breakfast, which was a nice touch. The location is excellent, with plenty of eateries 9and convenience stores nearby. Overall, it was a very good experience, and I would definitely stay at this hotel again. Value for money.

Great location near the Wan Chai station! Lots of great places to eat around, just a great area! Rooms are a bit more retro looking than the photos online but had everything needed.

Excellent service! Front counter was very helpful. They allowed me to checkin an hour earlier. Room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The drinks in the fridge were complimentary and had an assortment of quality brands.

Great location close to restaurants, nightlife and MTR. Decent sized room, friendly staff, good amenities.

It's just 'okay,' but for this price, it's clean and convenient, so I can't ask for more. The room was quite spacious and clean. When checking in at the front desk, we spoke a bit of Cantonese, but switching to English made communication much smoother. A taxi from the Airport Express costs around 40 yuan. There are buses nearby and also a tram ('ding-ding' car) behind the hotel, making it convenient to get anywhere. The room had ironing facilities, which I used and found very good. It would have been even better if there was a shoehorn in the room!

The hotel's location is excellent, and the entrance is very noticeable. It's close to the Wan Chai MTR station, and there are many great restaurants nearby. We arrived a bit early, and the front desk agent, Lina Liu, kindly arranged an early check-in for us since there was a room available. After dropping off our luggage, we were able to go out and explore right away. She also gave each of us a canvas bag; her service was warm and attentive. The room itself was great – clean, tidy, and bright, with disposable toothbrushes and toothpaste provided. As someone with sleep issues, I slept soundly for ten hours. All the front desk staff were very helpful and quick to respond to any requests. There's an outdoor pool and foot bath in the side wing, which was very relaxing for a massage after a day of walking. I didn't take any pictures of the hotel, so the images are of the nearby streetscape. I'll definitely come back again.

The hotel is very close to Wan Chai MTR station, about 130 meters walk. Downstairs, there are cha chaan tengs (Hong Kong-style cafes) and bars, and there are also supermarkets and a Michelin-starred congee shop nearby. Overall, the room is good, just a bit small. A high percentage of the hotel's guests are foreigners, perhaps because of the bars downstairs that they enjoy.

Traveling with family, we chose the family room at this hotel, which had one large and one small bed, enough for 2 adults and 2 children. The room was small but well-appointed, and canned mineral water was provided. The air conditioning was very strong. It's a 5-minute walk from Wan Chai MTR Exit C, an 8-minute walk to catch the tram, a 15-minute walk to the Star Ferry, and a 5-minute walk to the airport bus stop. The transportation is incredibly convenient. If I come to Hong Kong again in the future, I'll definitely consider staying here.

I choose this place because it’s close to Hongkong convention center , it’s easy to go to the convention by walking it’s about 7 to 10 minutes. And the service of the hotel they have a bus for us to the convention also. This area, a lot of food and many things to do.

The location is amazing, very close to the subway, a lot of good eateries around, easy to move around. The personnel were very polite and nice. In general, I liked the hotel, although the room felt a bit dated and non sound-proof. But for Hong Kong, it was a good deal.

The location is central in Wanchai and walking distance to MTR station, but it gets noisy at night due to being close to a street full of bars. I would strongly recommend renovating the rooms, as all the facilities are very old and dated. That said, the receptionist and concierge are friendly.

Great location, very close to the MTR. Plenty of restaurant options nearby, even tried a Michelin-starred one. The hotel service is very thoughtful and attentive. I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Hong Kong.

Cleanliness: Very clean, no issues at all. Environment: Quiet, comfortable bed. Service: They offer luggage storage, complimentary coffee, and the shower gel and shampoo are quite good. All amenities are well-stocked. Tip: Remember to bring a UK adapter, as domestic plugs won't work. It's close to Wan Chai MTR station, with convenience stores downstairs, many bars, and plenty of food options. Lee Tung Avenue is also very close by.

The hotel is better than I think, great value. The room is clean and cozy. Friendly front desk service, no deposit needed. Walking distance to subway station. (less than 10 minutes) Perfect!
