Metropark Hotel Mongkok

Traveling from Xiamen to Hong Kong, it seems that due to environmental protection policies, hotels in Hong Kong no longer provide disposable toothbrushes and toothpaste. This hotel is conveniently located next to Prince Edward MTR Station, making transportation easy. There are also many shops nearby, which is great for shopping. The room was larger than expected; we, a family of three, chose a king-sized bed (1.8m), and the movable sofa could be used as a barrier next to it. Overall, it was quiet, but when actually sleeping, the air conditioner seemed a bit loud – something that could be improved. There were earplugs in the room, but I wasn't sure if they were complimentary since it wasn't specified, so I didn't use them. A universal adapter was provided. It would be even better if disposable slippers were offered for children. Check-in is after 3 PM; before that, you can only store your luggage. It would be nice if early check-in or a later check-out around 2 or 3 PM were possible. The hotel staff were very friendly and patient, and could communicate in Mandarin. Finally, I recommend a dim sum place near the hotel called 'Hot Spot Dim Sum' (热点点心); the prices are reasonable, and the food is delicious.

Pros: Clean and hygienic, and the staff were friendly. Cons: The mattress was too soft, making for an uncomfortable sleep. My daughter woke up with a scratch on her neck the next day and said something bit her while she was sleeping.

The hotel's location is great, though it's a bit older. Perhaps because it's a large hotel, the lobby on the first floor is always bustling with people. The staff were all quite nice, and the room size was good. Overall, it was okay.

Overall, my stay at this hotel was quite pleasant. Its excellent location, just over a hundred meters from the subway station, is a major plus. They don't provide disposable toothbrushes or toothpaste for environmental reasons, which I understand. Luckily, I always carry my own water bottle, otherwise, it would have been a bit inconvenient. The gym's overall environment and cardio equipment were pretty good, I was quite satisfied with that. Just a suggestion: the dumbbells haven't been cleaned in a while and can dirty your clothes. It's odd that a gym has dumbbells but no basic weight bench or foam roller. The yoga mats also look quite old. In a detail-oriented city like Hong Kong, I wouldn't expect this... However, the price was reasonable, and you can make do if you bring your own resistance bands.

This place is really convenient; the subway is just a short walk away, making commuting so much easier 🚇. The location is excellent, getting anywhere is quick, and there are plenty of dining, drinking, and entertainment options nearby. The room was clean and very comfortable to stay in.

Hygiene: Acceptable Environment: Convenient transportation Service: The lobby was like a madhouse, very crowded with people, and there was only a makeshift area to wait for check-in. I'd advise against arriving early, otherwise you might not even find a place to sit. The king-size rooms have a pillar in them, unlike the twin rooms. It can also be a bit noisy because it's in Mong Kok, but the hotel rooms provide earplugs. Facilities: Has a swimming pool

I stayed at the Metropark Hotel Kowloon when I visited Hong Kong in June, and found the shuttle service a bit inconvenient for getting around. This time, I wanted something closer to the MTR, so I chose the Metropark Hotel Mongkok and I highly recommend it. While the lobby isn't grand, the service was excellent, breakfast was good, and the room was clean. The main highlight is how incredibly convenient it is for dining, shopping, and buying things. Definitely recommended.

The hotel is very large. The room is comfortable and clean. It's right next to Prince Edward MTR Station. The staff's service attitude is excellent now, and they are very efficient. It was a very satisfying experience, and I highly recommend it to everyone.

The location is super convenient! It's just a 3-minute walk from Prince Edward Station, Exit C2. You can easily get to Mong Kok, Yau Ma Tei, Tsim Sha Tsui, and Central from here. I even found a side entrance that shaves off another minute of walking! The curry fish balls at Yau Ma Tei Exit A2 and the nearby bakery (especially their three-piece bread) were delicious – I wish I had eaten more!
