Stanford Hotel

The room was incredibly tiny. Before I arrived, I specifically requested no corner room in my booking, yet they still gave me one. It was very dark, poorly ventilated so my clothes wouldn't dry, and not soundproof at all. Plus, the central air conditioning was terrible and ancient, making an immense racket. The hotel looks quite grand from the outside, but it's truly awful on the inside. Service: The lady at the front desk was quite enthusiastic, but the man who checked me in, an older gentleman, was very arrogant and barely spoke, as if I owed him money. Environment: The facilities are old and run-down. The charging outlets weren't even by the bed; the bed was miles away. The room was minuscule, and the central air conditioning was incredibly noisy and absolutely awful. I seriously don't recommend booking this place. I rarely leave bad reviews, but this is honestly the worst hotel I've stayed in in Hong Kong. At over 500 a night, I blindly trusted online reviews and booked for 3 days, spending over 1500. It felt like being in prison, no different from living in a slum.

The room was great, very spacious, and the bed's firmness was perfect for me – I really like a firmer mattress 👍🏻. The breakfast food tasted good too, though it would be even better with a wider variety of options. Overall, it was a good experience.

The hotel is located near the tourist area, just a few minutes' walk away, so it's not too noisy. It's also close to several subway stations. Downstairs, there's a McDonald's and a 7-Eleven, so food is never an issue – it's right there. The service was good, and they offer luggage storage. My only complaint is that on the day I checked in, there were many Asian guests who were quite rude; they wouldn't queue for the elevator and would block the hallway.

The hotel front desk manager was excellent, very thoughtful and provided great service. The hotel staff were also very attentive, and they cleaned our room thoroughly every day.

The location is very convenient, and the lobby is quite luxurious. This time, my room was on a newly renovated floor. The air conditioning was excellent, and the mattress was just right – not too soft, not too hard. It would be even better if I could get a higher floor and a larger TV next time.

The hotel's location is super convenient, close to both Mong Kok Station and Mong Kok East Station. There are tons of restaurants nearby, plus several shopping malls. The room was a bit small, and the view was nothing special, but it was clean. The breakfast buffet was decent.

Fantastic hotel! Within a 10-minute walk, you'll find McDonald's, Wellcome, Sasa, Watsons, and Mannings. The staff are all incredibly friendly, and the rooms are very clean with great air conditioning. The staff even offered to upgrade my room, which was wonderful. I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Hong Kong!

The room itself was generally acceptable, and I was pleasantly surprised to find amenities in the bathroom. The only downside is that the power outlet is incredibly far away; I had to get on the floor to plug anything in, and there were no outlets at all on either side of the bed.

Okay, convenient transportation, pretty quiet, and they provide a universal adapter. They even upgraded my room. Recommended.
