Lan Kwai Fong Hotel @ Kau U Fong by Dorsett Hotels

The stay wasn't great. I booked a room with two beds through Trip.com, but only got one. When I showered, the bathroom drain was clogged and wouldn't drain, though the staff quickly fixed it. The breakfast buffet at Aberdeen Lodge was terrible, definitely not worth HK$165. The TV kept losing signal. Also, the hotel didn't provide bottled water, and toothpaste and toothbrushes had to be purchased separately for HK$5 each.

The title said "sea view room," but where's the sea view? Is it a sea of people? I feel cheated paying 1000 for this room. It's worth 500 at most, with the extra 500 just for the misleading title.

The room is tiny. There were no toothbrushes or toothpaste provided; you have to buy them separately. I accidentally broke an old glass table, and they immediately demanded 200 HKD for the glass, even though it was clearly very old and the breakage was an accident. I don't really recommend this place.

My stay exceeded expectations. The room was clean and tidy, and the bedding was so soft I slept incredibly well. The location is super convenient for getting around and finding places to eat. The front desk staff were warm, attentive, and quick to respond to any requests. Overall, it was quiet and not noisy at all, and definitely good value for money. I'll prioritize staying here again next time I visit!

I stayed here to explore Hong Kong and Macau, using the Hong Kong airport. It was super convenient as I could walk to the Airport Express from the airport and to the ferry terminal for Macau. There's also a convenience store nearby and some great restaurants, which was a huge plus. I had a harbor view room, but the view was a bit limited, peeking out between tall buildings.

The room was very clean and comfortable, and the breakfast at the 4th-floor restaurant was super chill. The staff were all very friendly.

I really wouldn't recommend this hotel unless absolutely necessary. I knew it was old before going, but I didn't expect it to be so old that the toilet would be clogged. In the middle of the night, I could still smell a strange odor from the carpet. The shower stall uses a curtain and is tiny, and the showerhead can't even be adjusted.

The location is great. I saw in the elevator that it seems to be part of the Dorsett Hotel Group. The room was small but functional and comfortable.
