You really have to experience it for yourself to get the full picture. Service Attitude: Everyone was incredibly kind and nice. My child was speaking English at the front desk, and I was assisting. The staff were very respectful, leaning in to patiently communicate with my child eye-to-eye and thoroughly addressing all our questions. Before we headed to our room, a lovely staff member even asked us if it was our first time in Hong Kong and if we knew where to eat out. So thoughtful! Room Cleanliness: Connecting rooms. The room size is quite spacious for a Hong Kong hotel, and the sofa can even sleep one person. The attendant very nicely brought us an extra duvet and pillow. The room was clean and tidy, equipped with disposable toothbrushes, slippers, and mineral water. The dampness is 'standard' for a hotel by the sea, so we just opened the curtains every morning to let in the sun. Room Soundproofing: Not soundproof at all. The room next door was watching TV until past 1 AM. I finally managed to fall asleep with my headphones on.

We had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. My husband and I stayed in one room, while my parents stayed in another. The bathroom and shower were very clean and comfortable. The view is definitely better on the higher floors — my parents stayed on the 31st floor and had a lovely view, while our room on the 12th floor didn’t have much of a view, but honestly, we were mostly there just to sleep. There was bottled water in the room upon arrival, but when we asked for more the next day, we were told to get it from the gym. Also, the cone-shaped paper cups in the gym were not very practical — that could be improved. On the positive side, the hotel has a gym for those interested. The location is very convenient. We used the tram frequently to explore Hong Kong, and it’s very close to the hotel. There is also a shopping mall nearby, plenty of places to eat, and a supermarket right across the street. The room overall was nice. There was a slight humidity smell, but that seems to be common in Hong Kong. Keeping the air conditioning on helps a lot. I stayed at this hotel 10 years ago and it was decent, acceptable. After much deliberation, I chose it again this time, mainly because of its convenient location in Causeway Bay. However, the facilities haven't been updated. The disposable slippers provided were of terrible quality, similar to those you'd find in a cheap domestic hotel. On the second day, they weren't even replaced, and I had to call the front desk to get new ones. Those slippers really don't last more than a day, I don't know what they're thinking. Many hotels nowadays don't require a deposit upon check-in, yet this hotel, with its outdated facilities, still demands a 500 RMB deposit. I even had to make a note of it so I wouldn't forget at check-out, though check-out itself was smooth.

This business trip was to attend the Hong Kong International Art Fair at the Hong Kong Central Library. I chose the Park Lane Hong Kong because of its convenient location and easy access. The front desk staff and floor attendants provided excellent service. The lady at the front desk even upgraded my room for free. I checked in for two nights, but ended up checking out at 6 PM on the second day. The breakfast selection leaned more towards Western options, with very few Chinese choices, but it was decent and filling. The Park Lane Hong Kong is conveniently located near the Causeway Bay MTR station, the 'ding ding' trams, and main roads, making transportation quick and easy. Victoria Park is right across from the hotel, and there are many shops and restaurants nearby. The best part is definitely how convenient it is for getting around.
