Nina Hotel Island South

I've already reported all the issues I encountered during my stay to the front desk, so I won't go into detail here... Also, the breakfast really needs an overhaul; the carb fest was just too much to handle.

I thought things had improved, but it seems there are just different standards. This time, due to a change in my business trip schedule, I stayed twice. The 33rd floor offers bottled water, while the 11th floor still has glasses and a water dispenser outside the door – an eco-friendly but awkward design. I'm retracting my previous positive follow-up comments. They really need to put themselves in the guests' shoes and think more carefully.

The L'hotel Island South in Wong Chuk Hang, although the rooms are smaller compared to the one in Tsuen Wan, the interior design and overall feel are quite good. It's worth mentioning that I've stayed here multiple times and have always been satisfied with the hygiene. The service attitude is excellent, which basically makes up for the slight drawback of not having extensive hotel facilities. The room rates are generally stable most of the time. If you're looking for something close to Causeway Bay or the Hong Kong Island area, this could be a good option.

Close to the University of Hong Kong, the rooms are clean, and the facilities (pool, gym) are well-equipped. Check-in was also quick and smooth. Everything was satisfactory.

Stayed for two weeks and had to ask multiple times to receive the half-price dining vouchers. The customer service from the sales department is extremely poor. They called multiple times and refused to keep up with the times by using WhatsApp, instead insisting on outdated paper communication.

The room was clean, well-lit, and quiet. The gym was good, though the AC was too cold – I barely broke a sweat. Also, the breakfast selection was quite limited; it would be great if they could add more variety.

This was my first time staying at this hotel. Overall, my stay was good, but there were some drawbacks. Personally, I found the showerhead in the bathtub to be fixed to the wall, not a detachable one, which was a bit inconvenient for me. The bathtub itself was quite spacious, but it looked like it had some minor signs of age. The toilet area was roomy, but the flush button was difficult to press, although the flushing itself worked fine. Also, there were some small wood shavings in the room that hadn't been cleaned up, possibly left over from a recent renovation. The wardrobe drawers had a strong woody smell, more so than other areas. Overall, what I was most satisfied with was the very comfortable mattress and the clean, dry sheets. The entire room was 30 square meters, and the window view was very open. A big plus was being able to sit on the window sill to relax and enjoy the scenery. Overall, it was a good stay, and I would consider coming back.

The hotel is great, with a gym and a pool. It's also conveniently located for getting around. The staff are very welcoming and helpful. I'd definitely consider staying here again if I have the chance.

The window wouldn't close properly, and of course, a strong wind that night blew it open (you couldn't make this up!), waking me up with the howling. On the first night, there was an occasional buzzing sound in the bathroom. The location isn't great, surrounded by industrial buildings, and it's quite a distance to the nearest convenience store and mall.
