Regal Riverside Hotel

Opted for the Regal Riverside Hotel in Hong Kong again, it's a great value-for-money hotel in the city. **Location:** Situated right next to Sha Tin town center, with direct airport bus access, making transportation incredibly convenient. There are plenty of beauty stores, convenience stores, supermarkets, and restaurants nearby, offering a wide array of dining options. My room had a stunning view of Shing Mun River, with mountains and water – a picturesque landscape that was absolutely beautiful. **Facilities:** This time I stayed in a single king-sized bed room. It's much smaller than the twin-bed room I had before, but for a solo traveler staying one night, it was just right. The facilities were quite complete. **Service:** They offer luggage storage both before check-in and after check-out, which is very helpful. However, check-in is strictly after 3 PM, and early check-in is not permitted, so you need to time your arrival accordingly. The front desk staff speaks Mandarin and English, which is very convenient. **Cleanliness:** It was very clean, as always.

The surroundings are nice and convenient. The lady who checked me in at the front desk was friendly and responsible, leaving a great impression. I hope her manager gives her recognition. I've stayed at your hotel many times, and my overall impression has always been excellent, especially regarding the cleanliness of the rooms. Thumbs up!

The rooms are actually quite spacious and comfortable for Hong Kong standards. The only downside was that both of my rooms were assigned to the very end of the corridor, which wasn't ideal. Fortunately, Trip.com handled the issue very promptly, so the extra points go to them.

Exceeded expectations! The room was spacious and very clean, and the bedding was comfortable. We booked a quad room, which included breakfast for four. Downstairs, there's a lovely river view, and you can cross the river to Sha Tin city center. The transportation is also convenient: we took a direct bus from Sai Kung station right to the hotel, and the next day we easily transferred to Tsim Sha Tsui.

I've been choosing the Regal Riverside Hotel every time I visit Hong Kong for the past two years. The transportation and dining options nearby are incredibly convenient. It's a very clean hotel with excellent value for money. Both the front desk staff and the cleaning aunties are very polite. I'll definitely choose to stay here again next time.

The location is pretty good, and the public bus stop right outside the hotel is very convenient. There's only one power outlet on the desk in the room, and its design isn't very practical; the independent switch can interfere with adapters. There's another power outlet near the kettle in the kitchen. The air conditioning unit is quite loud when running. The shower is okay, but the overhead showerhead has issues. Using the side one is sufficient.

I forgot to take pictures of the room... It's a bit of a walk from Sha Tin Wai MTR station, about ten minutes, but the hotel itself is surrounded by many restaurants, making it easy to find food. The hotel seems quite old, and some facilities show their age. The air conditioning is very noisy. Although I booked a double bed, it was actually just two soft single mattresses pushed together. The pillows were also very flat and soft, making it difficult to sleep. Adjusting the water temperature in the shower was a bit tricky. Even without putting up the 'please clean' sign, towels were exchanged daily. For environmental reasons, the hotel doesn't provide toothbrushes, toothpaste, or power adapters for free. There was also no complimentary bottled water in the room upon check-in (though there is a tap with drinking water, so you can fill your own bottle). I recommend bringing your own.
