Kerry Hotel Hong Kong by Shangri-la

Staying at the old Kerry Hotel Hung Hom, the facilities are well-maintained. On the first day, I was assigned a room on the 14th floor. Although the full sea-view room was far from the elevator, there was a musty smell upon entering. Luckily, they provided two air purifiers, otherwise, it would have been unbearable. For the second and third nights, I decisively switched to a premier sea-view room. After I raised the issue, they arranged it well. The full sea-view room should face Central; looking at the Island Eastern Corridor and Whampoa Garden is not interesting! I arrived by car, and the valet parking staff lacked enthusiasm in their customer service. However, the bellhop at checkout was excellent; seeing me with three suitcases alone, he was very willing to help me with my luggage. Kerry's service has always been neither too much nor too little, neither cold nor hot, but this time it was a pleasant surprise. I'll stay again next time!

This hotel is perfect for families with kids and deserves a full score in every aspect. It's great for letting your little ones roam around, as it's right next to a seaside park with no cars, making it very safe. The location is excellent, quiet yet close to the action, and the hotel offers a free shuttle bus to the city center. The facilities are new, and the air conditioning is incredibly quiet with individual temperature and fan speed control, which is a thoughtful touch. The service far exceeds other 5-star hotels. Breakfast was also incredibly varied and plentiful.

The food at "Brown Sugar" was absolutely delicious, it really hit the spot! The room had a beautiful view, even when it rained. The seasonal limited edition lion cub had a very "Lion Rock spirit" feel to it, and there was a pleasant surprise with the drone show. The hotel offers the most unbeatable views!

The Kerry Hotel offers spacious rooms with fantastic Victoria Harbour views. The infinity pool has a great vibe, and the service is excellent. The only downside is its distance from the luxury shopping areas in Tsim Sha Tsui, so you'll need to take the MTR for shopping. Otherwise, everything is perfect.

Room: The room was spacious with a beautiful sea view, perfect for chatting, enjoying the scenery, and taking great photos. Service: The service was excellent, they even helped with our luggage. Attitude: The staff were friendly and accommodating to our needs. Facilities: The facilities were comprehensive, including a gym, dining options, and a bar.

The hotel breakfast is excellent, offering a rich variety of Chinese, Western, and Indian options, as shown in the pictures. 3. The room cleaning staff wear a uniform, and to my surprise, they all wear head coverings, which is rare in other hotels. Overall, a perfect rating and highly recommended for a stay.

This hotel offers incredible value for money! While its location might not boast the direct Victoria Harbour and Central views like the Kowloon Shangri-La, the Kerry Hotel faces the distant Kai Tak, providing an even more expansive sea view and an equally stunning night view. The surrounding area features upscale hotels, residential complexes, and schools along the waterfront, making it clean and orderly. There's a large plaza downstairs, which isn't noisy, and it's very pleasant to jog or stroll along the seaside promenade. A large AEON supermarket is just a short distance away, fully stocked with everything you could need, including reliable ingredients. The hotel is very close to Whampoa MTR station, and the ferry terminal is practically on its doorstep. The breakfast is rich, a perfect blend of Chinese and Western options, and it's never crowded. The service from the front desk, restaurant staff, housekeeping, and doormen is all top-notch, and everyone is incredibly friendly. The shower has fantastic water pressure, both powerful and gentle, and the room is spotlessly clean, feeling like a brand-new hotel. If I had to offer a suggestion, I'd hope the hotel would provide two complimentary bottles of mineral water daily. While the mini-bar offers a good selection of free drinks, not everyone might enjoy them, especially since mineral water is a standard offering in most hotels on the mainland. All in all, the Kerry Hotel was the biggest surprise of our summer trip to Hong Kong! I sincerely hope the hotel maintains its excellent service!
