Price fair, staff friendly, easy access, gym room in the upper floor

The hotel is located at Ap Lei Chau, another side of Hong Kong, further from the attraction places. But easily accessible for airport bus A10 from and to airport. There is mrt nearby 5min walk, with 7-11 below the hotel, eateries, cafe, market and food centre within walking distance. Can take ferry to Aberdeen which has direct bus to central and Kowloon/Mongkok area. Easy to go to Lamma island from Aberdeen side.

Îs not a hotel it is a hostel and wasn’t clean as it supposed to be when we checked the hotels where we were supposed to stay.. very disappointed because from pictures on Trip this was very cleaned and good location with very good service . Breakfast was very poor and the same one every day. Coffee was good.

The bathroom in my hotel room was extremely disappointing. It was clearly not cleaned properly before my arrival. There were visible stains on the sink and toilet, and the shower area had a buildup of grime and mildew. Towels didn’t feel fresh, and there was an unpleasant odor throughout the space. Additionally, the breakfast experience was inconvenient. While breakfast was advertised, there was no proper dining area available to sit and eat. This made it uncomfortable and unclear where guests were expected to have their meals. Due to these issues, I felt compelled to leave one night earlier than planned, which was very frustrating and disrupted my trip. For a place that claims to prioritize guest comfort, basic cleanliness should be a given. Unfortunately, this experience made my stay far less enjoyable, and I would hesitate to return or recommend this hotel to others.

Perfect for one night, near aberdeen and ocean park. Reasonable price and nice coffee area with free coffee.

Had an awesome stay here at Urbanwood. Near the MTR, restaurants, convenience stores, supermarket, and playground. Everything you need is around this hotel! The rooms are top tier (booked 2 rooms; for 3 pax and 6 pax). The 6 pax room is like a home with 3 bedrooms, 2 CRs, a dining room, and living room. One of the best stays I've had.

I think the location is excellent. There are direct buses and subways to Admiralty and Lee Tung Avenue, taking only 30 to 40 minutes, which is super convenient. It's clean, and you can easily order takeout nearby. Plus, if you sign up for Foodpanda now, there are coupons available, making it incredibly good value. It's definitely in my top three of all the hotels I've stayed at.

I love the location, just two short blocks from the waterfront promenade, also the MTR and other transport, mini buses, buses, very near, seafood market and temple also within a couple of blocks, lots of dining choices. Hotel is modern, has all necessary features, very attractive, open view, comfortable bed, good wifi, good shower, quiet, private, and very helpful staff. Definitely would stay here again.

I had two bookings and asked the hotel if I could stay in the same room for three days without changing rooms in between, but the staff said no. That's one thing. Secondly, because I had to switch rooms, my washed clothes weren't dry. I needed bags to separate the wet and dry clothes, so I called the front desk for garbage bags. The staff told me to look for new bags under the trash can. I actually laughed and asked if that was appropriate. She then said someone would bring them up. I was speechless. They really don't understand customer service; it's so unprofessional. They can't even handle such a small request properly.

Just two subway stops from Hong Kong Ocean Park! Great value for money! The room is compact but super clean! The windowsill offers a view of the sea, the pier, and sailboats, so it's definitely a sea-view room! They also offer free breakfast, which is pretty good!

Such a pleasant surprise! ❤️ First, the room size really stood out. If you’ve stayed in mid-range hotels in Hong Kong before, you know space can be tight. But here, the room felt noticeably more spacious and well laid out. We had enough room for our luggage and could still move around comfortably without bumping into everything. It made a big difference, especially after long days out. The cleanliness was consistently impressive. The room was cleaned every single day, towels were changed daily, and even the slippers were replaced every two days. Everything always felt fresh and well taken care of. You can tell the housekeeping team pays attention to the details. The pantry area was simple but very practical. It wasn’t overdone or cluttered, just neat and useful. Everything was organized, easy to use, and kept tidy. It was great to have a clean and functional space to prepare quick snacks or drinks. And we really have to mention Sir Edward, the night manager. He was incredibly welcoming and friendly from the moment we arrived. Always smiling, easy to talk to, and genuinely helpful. After a long day exploring, it was nice to come back to someone who made you feel welcome. That personal touch really made our stay even better. Overall, Urbanwood AP Lei Chau gave us great value for what we paid. Clean rooms, more space than expected, practical amenities, and warm service. We’d definitely stay here again.

Great value hotel in a good location for accessing both the South of HK island and only 4km from Central... local area with local area prices. The views from the park 2 minutes walk from the hotel are great.Rooms are small but ok for a few days visit and the kitchen facilities on the 7th floor are very helpful!
