Leisure Hostel

There was probably a time when the room had this interesting palatial look but it’s now just a hostel. It is a collection of hostels all grouped together inside the Chungking Mansion so whilst you might book this specific room you will be shepherded to one of the available rooms under a different hostel name, lift, floor. The location is great easy access to Metro, Victoria Harbour, Kowloon Park, Ferry Terminal. Access to Fridge, microwave, hot and cold water available. My room was single bed, tv, aircon, shower, toilet, wash basin, mirror?! Budget stay so you can save for the expensive food/sightseeing or save for market shopping.

Not bad for our experience, actually we didnt like with 3 or 4 ladies staff. When we arrived on Sept 07 in front of the unit, we knocked the door. Normal person will be open the door and let us waiting in receptionist, but they're didnt open the door. I was heard they're laughing after that silent. Can you imagine, how long we waited without signal to call the person. We've data roaming, but signal limiting in unit makes full of stressed. No choices, we waited for the person (man) to go upstairs to meet us. When I was waiting for the man to check my booked confirm or not, I SAW THEY'VE CCTV. Come on we living in 2025, next time dont be ******. We're same from Southeast Asia. LOL.

Booking in advance and pay more for a 2 bed just for them to give me one single bed, when i ask them about it the lady who bring me to the room simply said we have nothing left this is the only room available if you don’t like it just cancel it. I don’t know what the point of booking and making different price of it if they will give you random room at the end, i know its cheap but come on

❌⛔️⚠️SCAM⚠️ This hotel is a pure scam and I went thru the reviews prior to mine, not only I went thru this experience. I booked the hotel online, got to the venue (not even the correct one, the original location was changed by the staff, they drove me to another location, called “Cherry or blossom something motel”). Arriving there, they claimed not to accept any online payment and that I should pay cash, but, yes they are clever they never issued any receipt for the payment. When I contacter trip.com for a full refund since the hotel doesn’t acknowledge online payments, Trip.com contacted them and they claimed to “not we don’t accept online payments” but rather “this booking was a no show” because they knew exactly they didn’t confirm my booking with trip.com, they registered me offline, off trip.com records in some manuscript on their reception desk. We took about 2 weeks of ups and downs with trip.com trying to find a resolution but the hotel still was not cooperating, they scammed me and without any remorse. If you wanna book a room here, I STRONGLY DON’T DON’T DON’T advise you to do so. When you need help with the receptionist, you can’t even find anyone, they are always away. This was a nightmare experience with this scammer’s hotel. Please stay safe & avoid this booking. Thanks trip.com came out with a resolution to reward some coins upon complete unwillingness of the hotel to cooperate. ⛔️⛔️⛔️⚠️⚠️⚠️THIS BOOKING IS A SCAM, BEWARE OF IT⚠️⚠️⚠️⛔️⛔️⛔️
