My feelings about the hotel experience in Hong Kong are relatively mixed. First of all, the service attitude of the landlord is indeed satisfactory. They are friendly and helpful, which adds a lot of highlights to my accommodation experience. However, the facilities and services of the room did not meet expectations. The cleanliness and comfort of the room are average, and the facilities are old and poorly maintained, which greatly reduced my overall impression of the hotel. In general, although the service of the landlord is worthy of recognition, the hardware facilities and service quality of the hotel still need to be improved. For travelers with limited budgets or low requirements for accommodation, this may be a good choice. But for those who pursue a high-quality accommodation experience, you may need to consider other better options.

Purpose of travel: I booked a room with one bed to travel alone Location: It was close to the subway station and airport bus stop. There is a convenience store and McDonald's nearby. Building condition: The building was very old. When I arrived at the 5th floor, there was a smell in the hallway. It was an old landscape with dust. It smelled like a room where locals live, and it was noisy. Room condition: 1. When I saw the picture, it was a room with a large window, but the room I was assigned didn't have a window that opened (it may not have been a real window) and was right next to the counter. 2. I could clearly hear the conversations between guests at the counter. 3. The bathroom was so small that I couldn't stretch my arms. There was a door right in front of the toilet, so I couldn't sit on the toilet. To use hot water, I had to turn on the switch in the hallway 5 minutes before. 4. There was black dust on the air conditioner, so I didn't even want to go near it. 5. When I took a shower, the room was full of moisture, so I opened the door for a moment, and there was a cockroach right in front of me. 6. I turned off the lights and lay down to sleep, and I heard a rat running around on the ceiling. I had my earphones on all night and couldn't sleep at all. 7. The bedding and floor were clean to the naked eye. The towels were one disposable towel per night. 8. I tried to check in at 8 PM, but the owner went out to eat, so I had to contact him via WeChat or phone. The owner only speaks Chinese. Please note. Accommodation response: I deeply regret booking 3 nights for about 85,000 won per night. The accommodation was in a mess, so I requested a refund, but of course I couldn't get a refund because it was a non-refundable condition in advance. I contacted Trip.com customer service, but they said, "We can't intervene because we are completely following the accommodation's decision." Many of the reviews I checked in advance had 4 stars or more... It's just my fault for believing fake reviews in order to get a cheap price.

The only downside is that it's close to the road outside. The building is old and the soundproofing is not very good. The toilet is relatively small. Hong Kong is a land of high value. This hotel is in a great location, close to the subway and Tsim Sha Tsui Victoria. The transportation is very convenient. I often go out and rarely write reviews, but this time is an exception. I didn't expect the experience to be so good! Super cost-effective! It's 170 meters walk from Exit A1 of Mong Kok MTR to the 5th floor of Kingland Building. The location is easy to find. The owner, Xiaoman, is very nice. She took the initiative to upgrade us to a triple room with a window (Figure 1, a casual shot in the room). When she learned that we didn't bring towels, she provided disposable bath towels for free, which was very considerate and awesome 👍🏻 The sheets, quilt covers, and pillowcases are very white and clean, with a refreshing smell of laundry detergent. The bed is moderately soft and hard, and I slept very well! The hotel gate and room require passwords and cards to enter, which is very safe. Nathan Road is downstairs, TOP is diagonally opposite, near Sneaker Street, and it's very close to Tsim Sha Tsui and Harbour City. It's super convenient for shopping and eating. It's the best choice to come again next time!

There are three elevators available, but only four people can stand (including 4 suitcases) It's very convenient to live downstairs and there is a bus that goes directly to the airport

It's an option, but the reality is that accommodations in Hong Kong are very different and less comfortable than in much of the rest of the world. It's very expensive considering the space and what they actually offer. But it's fine for sleeping, and for just a couple of nights, no more than 2.
