No water in the room, only at reception. No coffee/tea, coffee maker, or kettle. On the plus side, there were toiletries in the bathroom. After 1 night, we had to move to another room in the middle of the night because two cockroaches appeared in ours within an hour. We canceled our third night and moved to another hotel. The hotel is old, the room was dirty, and the furnishings were old and falling apart. The bedding, with its brown blanket, looked gray and dirty. The hotel desperately needs a thorough renovation. The air conditioning worked flawlessly. The staff was very nice and helpful, and the hotel manager was excellent. We also enjoyed the nice view from the 11th floor.

The location of the hotel is really close to waikiki beach 10 min walk , grab your coffee on the way and go to the beach , the hotel staffs are amazing, very helpful, supportive, friendly, every single one of them , this is really important as a solo traveller I had so many questions and inquiries and they helped me to solve everything in an instance. They even have weights to weigh my luggage before the flight. The room had a stunning balcony, everything so clean, no smell no mold, everything was working , the AC , the mini fridge, they even gave me a kettle because i said I loved having coffee in the morning. They have tours as well , activities like hula dancing , Lei making, there is an ABC store for your water , fruits , snacks , sunscreen . Very convenient . I Highly recommend this hotel.

At 1250 (tax included) a day in Hawaii, it's certainly not expensive, and I was mentally prepared to make do. What I didn't expect was that my experience over four nights wasn't great: first, the hygiene was unsatisfactory, and the bedding quality was quite ordinary; second, room cleaning wasn't done as scheduled, with one day completely missed. When I discussed this with the front desk, their attitude was very perfunctory. The room facilities were also quite old. On the positive side, the transportation is quite convenient, just a fifteen-minute walk to the Royal Hawaiian Center.

I recently stayed at this hotel in the Penthouse and, overall, had a pleasant stay. However, there were several areas where the guest experience could be improved. Pros: * The location is convenient, with Waikiki Beach approximately a 15-minute walk away. * There are plenty of restaurants within walking distance, although I would recommend making reservations in advance as many are very popular. * There are numerous ABC Stores nearby, making it easy to pick up snacks, drinks, souvenirs, and other essentials. * A special mention goes to Ralph, who was outstanding throughout our stay. He was friendly, approachable, and always happy to help with any questions or recommendations. He quickly became our go-to person whenever we needed assistance and is a real credit to the hotel. Cons: * Upon arrival, we were not offered the welcome drink that other guests appeared to receive. We checked in shortly after 3:00 pm, yet we saw guests arriving at around 9:30 pm the previous evening being offered welcome drinks. It was disappointing that this was not provided consistently. * We were never informed that the hotel offers complimentary beach umbrellas and chairs on a first come, first served basis. We ended up purchasing our own before accidentally overhearing another member of staff explain this benefit during another guest’s check-in. * Similarly, we only discovered that the hotel offers a complimentary walking tour after overhearing a different staff member mention it to another guest. It would have been helpful if all guests were informed about the activities and amenities available during check-in. * We booked the Penthouse expecting to fully enjoy the advertised 90-degree views. While the views themselves were excellent, the balcony was much smaller than expected and not really large enough to comfortably sit and enjoy them. * The bathroom, particularly the bathtub, felt dated and would benefit from refurbishment. * The room itself is showing its age and could do with a modern refresh. * The breakfast room is exceptionally small considering the number of guests staying at the hotel. During busy periods it becomes crowded and difficult to find seating. * One morning, a guest was allowed to bring a dog into the enclosed, air-conditioned breakfast room. To my understanding, this is not permitted under Hawaii law unless the animal is a legitimate service animal, and it made the dining experience uncomfortable. * The Skyline floor cannot be accessed using the elevator on the far left, which was inconvenient and not clearly explained. * At check-in, a $200 deposit was authorised along with an additional hold on my credit card. This extra charge was never explained by staff, and I only became aware of it after reviewing my credit card statement. Greater transparency regarding incidental holds would have been appreciated. Overall, the hotel is in a good location with helpful staff, especially Ralph, and provides a comfortable base for exploring Waikiki. However, there were several inconsistencies in communication and a number of facilities that would benefit from updating. Better communication during check-in about available amenities, clearer explanations of credit card holds, and refurbishment of the rooms would significantly improve the overall guest experience.

The hotel facilities were perfect. The view from the room was completely different between day and night, so I enjoyed my stay without getting bored. The front desk staff were very kind; even though it was only a few minutes until check-in, they brought welcome drinks to me while I waited in the lobby. The Hawaiian juice was so refreshing and revitalizing after being out in the heat. There was also a water dispenser in the lobby, which I refilled my bottle from daily. This saved me from having to buy water outside, which was a great money-saver.

The hotel boasts an excellent location with comprehensive facilities. It's incredibly convenient, with supermarkets, shops, and restaurants all within easy reach. The rooms come with a kitchen, which is very handy. The staff are warm and attentive, and both check-in and check-out were swift. Absolutely excellent.

The staff were all so kind and wonderful. The power went out at night, but they handled it without any fuss, which I really appreciated. It's also within walking distance to the beach, and having the ABC Store inside the building was a plus.

The service was great and the location was convenient. Considering the affordable price, it's pretty good if you don't compare it to beachfront hotels. It's a good choice for a stay the day before your flight off the island. Excellent value for money!

Pros: The room's balcony experience was great; the balcony had UV-protective and heat-insulating film. The door lock felt secure. The overall hotel environment and cleanliness were acceptable. The front desk service was friendly, and the ambassador proactively helped with luggage and was very welcoming. Serious Issues (Women guests, please be extremely cautious about privacy and safety): There are major lapses in hotel management, with complete disregard for guest privacy. There is no landline in the hotel room, and the front desk did not call to notify me before arranging for a male ambassador to vigorously knock on my door and then use a card to open it. I was sleeping at the time and was very startled. Less than five minutes later, housekeeping staff again used a card to open the door directly. Having unauthorized entry into my room twice in a row was an extremely poor experience. Used beach towels also had to be brought back to the room as there was no collection point downstairs, which was very inconvenient. The pool was small (not a major issue), and the water quality was very mediocre, making me not want to swim. While the hardware and service attitude were acceptable, there are clear loopholes in room safety management, posing a high risk for guests.

This hotel is the biggest rip-off I've ever booked! This hotel is the biggest rip-off I've ever booked! This hotel is the biggest rip-off I've ever booked! Tourists visiting Hawaii often need to store their luggage between island hops, and we even had a booking with them for after our return. However, this hotel charges fifty dollars a day for luggage storage. I mentioned needing luggage storage before booking, but they never explicitly stated the fee. This nearly made us miss our flight on the last day – it's absolutely outrageous! Everyone should avoid this place!
