We stayed for one night and found this a great Travelodge to stay at. Just outside of Chester and with a Toby Carvery next door, what else could we have needed. The rooms were a good size and were clean and tidy, we didn't have any issues whilst we were here. The car park was a good size with plenty of room. We had a great breakfast at the Toby next morning.

Need more facilities like Vending Machines. Toby Carvery next door closes 10 o'clock on a Saturday night so if you want a soft drink etc youreout of luck. So I would suggest bringing your own. No reception staff you need to call a number for someone to assist you. Not a bad stay just found it lacking

We had a few days away, parked the car and got Ubers into and out of Chester, the hotel was great. Thank you.

We only used this Travelodge for an overnight en route to South Wales but this one has something different. The rooms have a less corporate look and it felt that we were staying in a quaint homely hotel. Excellent location just off network of roads to Chester and North Wales and ideal for a well priced overnight before flying from Manchester as 33mins by car. Chester is an amazing City to explore and one day wont cover it all so this place would be ideal for a weekend break in Chester . The Zoo in my opinion is one of the best in the Uk and well worth a visit and walking around the walls within the city is a must. Lots of shopping to explore . Visited Chester many times before and didnt know about this little gem of a place but now I know its there ...I will be back. Swift check in, ground floor room which was ideal for us as we both have difficulty walking too far and no need to get back in the car for something to eat as the Toby is right next door for those who love a carvery. However there are many other places to eat around the area and in Chester itself. The room was warm and clean ( especially the bathroom which it one of the main things I rate highly) . Choice of a bath or shower in our room which we loved very much. Bed was a little soft for our old aching bones but not even the more expensive hotels can cater for everyone's personal taste. It did what it said on the tin and we have stayed in many travel lodges up and down the uk. Certainly one to check out and thanks to all the staff and Louise the manager for making us feel very welcome.

A really great budget hotel that is conveniently located for Chester. Only a short drive from the centre making it a good base for a visit. We have stayed here a couple of times now, and each time has been good, most recently over the Easter break. Rooms are comfortable, warm and very clean. They have a nice modern touch but are still quite traditional rooms. Staff very nice. We were checked in by Meg who was incredibly friendly, polite and helpful. We were checked out by (I think) the manager, maybe Louise? She was also very pleasant. Ample parking and Toby Carvery next door is good if needed. Will be returning.

Delivery noise early in morning. No ramp or lift to support whilst lugging suitcases etc. Clean with nice view from window. Easy accessible from motorway. Central location from chester and surrounding areas.

Easy to check in and friendly staff, but dreadful soundproofing in rooms. My room had an old thin wooden interconnecting door to another room in it. Wasn't clear if this was still in use and it appeared to be locked off. However this means that we heard every word of the TV show coming from next door along with very loud snoring. Not ideal when we had an early start. Could also hear the person upstairs use the loo... Nice touch that there were little valentine's chocolates left on the towels. It was very clean and the water pressure was fine. Bedside table thing was very broken and didn't dare put anything other than a phone in it, it would not have managed a cup of tea!!

I came up from S/Wales for a two night break and a visit to Chester and Liverpool, weather wasn’t great but we made it , didn’t get to Chester weather too bad, but did make it to wonderful Liverpool. We were very pleased with the clean and warm Travelodge and the fact it was right next door to a Toby carvery though not mentioned in the booking details.? Made it a bit more special.
