感覺好像是國內人在這裏老街開的民俗，車根本開不到酒店，前台單獨一個檔口，搖人打電話過來給你領到另一個洞口，套房，挺大，設備民俗級別，系統上有沙發床，但是80公分寬的沙發，住不了人。廁紙架裝的扯紙就掉，空調製熱。歐洲四星是怎麼評的不知道，這個酒店就是一個精品民宿，對服務要求不高也可以住，但價錢不便宜，國人比較瞭解國人，人多不怕回頭。

The sympathetic owner and staff did everything more than right. You feel at home instantly. For me, they have set a new benchmark and the truth is, when you travel a lot, you know what counts, as said of the owner, true for me, I believe, too. Not only are rooms welcoming and stylish, you are met with respect. Wine, prosecco, other drinks, are abundantly available in good quality in the room - you just fill the 'honesty' tab yourself. A well equipped kitchenette would cater for your short and long term stay. Another highlight is the breakfast: Welcoming smiles, perfect coffee and a sunday breakfast with only the best food will wait for you. A picky food nerd like me wants to return as soon as possible. 'Goud en Zilver' ligt rustig (in het autovrije wandelgebied) midden in het centrum van Gorinchem. De hotelkamers liggen verspreid over verschillende huisnummers aan de Langendijk. Dat is een verrassende vorm, waarbij de kleinschaligheid van de gebouwtjes heel prettig en intiem aandoet. We hadden een prachtige, sfeervolle en verzorgde kamer: de 'penthouder suite'. Die is ruim, heel gezellig ingericht en luxe uitgerust met vrijstaand bad en aparte douche op de slaapverdieping... en met een leuk, schaduwrijk privé-tuintje. Hier voel je je vanaf het eerste moment thuis! De medewerkers zijn uiterst vriendelijk en behulpzaam en het ontbijt is uitstekend. Zonder enige twijfel een plek om terug te komen.

Een fantastisch verblijf hier gehad. Een prachtig hotel midden in het centrum. Mooi groot appartement met twee verdiepingen. Ook een mooi ingerichte kamer met vele aparte spullen en meubels. Het ontbijt was ook heerlijk en met vele keuze.

GZ is een geweldig hotel met meerdere locaties in het centrum. Wij hadden de basic suite geboekt en die was geweldig. Erg ruim, van alle gemakken voorzien en prachtig ingericht. Het bed was ook prima. De eigenaar en zijn zus zijn ontzettend vriendelijke mensen en dat zorgt ook voor een heel ontspannen verblijf. Zij maken met iedereen een praatje en dat zorgt ervoor dat je je er erg welkom voelt. De fietsen zijn (tegen betaling) te stallen in een afgesloten ruimte tegenover het hotel. Het ontbijt (apart bij te boeken) is erg uitgebreid en heerlijk. Ook veel dingen vers gemaakt. Kortom: dit hotel is echt een hotel waar je je nog gast voelt en ik kan het dan ook iedereen aanraden.
