Sofitel London Gatwick

Great service and high quality hotel connected to airport.

I had a wonderful 3 nights stay in this hotel. Choose this place because of late arrival at Gatwick Airport plus departure from there as well. Easy to go to London central and Brighton via train. The room was huge and the bed was comfortable. The amenities were well provided. Also, the staff was so nice to give me a late check out since my flight has late departure.

Good location, near Chinatown & soho. Bed quite comfortable but no table,no window & no dryer. Overall quite good.

A very comfortable airport hotel. Signposting could be better. It is not obvious where is the entrance to the hotel when leaving the terminal.

Perfect location if you’re flying from north. Easy to get to the train station if you wanted to go somewhere. There’s a walk way through to departures. Room was clean everything was great

Big comfortable beds so can rest well before flight. We booked here due to flight cancellation and since I was travelling alone with a toddler, I needed somewhere I could easily reach without stressing about luggage. The airport is perfectly located for an easy commute. However, I was asked what time I was expected to leave the next day and said 6:30am, without realising that meant at 6:30 on the dot the housekeeper would be banging on my door to clean the room. They even came back a second time. This woke my son who I was trying to keep asleep until I was ready to leave the room. They I was had vacated the room by 6:45 but check out was 12pm so I don’t understand why I was being pushed out at that time. I mentioned this to the receptionist at checkout but they simply said it was a problem with the two systems they use. However, if you’re asking people what time they will checkout as you want the rooms back sooner, perhaps it’s best to check they have actually checked out before sending up housekeeping.
