The Gatwick White House Hotel Reviews

This hotel is not close to the airport as described. It cost £22 each way for the shuttle service to / from the hotel. We will not use this hotel again, very disappointed 😞

This hotel offered a nice, but small, bedroom. As an airport hotel, it looks the part on entry: take note of the mirror at the reception, decorated around the frame with lots of badges from abroad. I was surprised to see that the Saffron Grill Bar offers multiple food options, not just Indian cuisine that the name suggests, although I chose Indian food as I can’t say no to it. Drinks were a little on the pricey side, but on the plus side, they were typical of Indian cuisine (they had 1 draft beer, Kingfisher, the rest of the drinks were bottled or were spirits). My only complaint was the shower. I was not staying for long, but when I did use the shower, I found that the hot water was not very hot, even when the temperature was set to its hottest.

Fantastic staff team, Always willing to assist. They were hands on in terms of solving an issue of flight rescheduled I have. Good place to stay . No doubt.

Very convenient for Gatwick airport. Good nights s sleep. Friendly staff. Good breakfast. Would stay there again. Very good value for money.

The hotel is idle with travellers going to the airport

Near Gatwick Airport. Good for one night for morning flight.

Awesome alternative to the multinational chains around Gatwick Airport. Will definitely use again. Charming and cheap. Taxi and Breakfast available. Clean and comfy bedrooms. Helpful staff. Close to amenities.

Staff ok but they get you a taxi that over charges so avoid there taxi get your own :)

Small room, very noisy guests and no insulation so you can hear adjacent rooms, upstairs rooms, across the hall rooms. Public Transport to Gatwick not easy and taxi or shuttle expensive, not recommended for this cost.

The room was clean overall, but unused chairs were covered in dust. It was quite a walk from the station. The area was dark. The staff were friendly and treated long-time guests like friends. There were five spoons provided, likely due to the large number of long-term guests.
