Adequate at the price. There isn’t an in-house restaurant which is slightly disappointing but the inn next door provide a decent breakfast and evening meal if required.

The hotel is excellent and very tidy. The receptionist Adele is very welcoming to guest and always smiling. She is helpful whenever you need help. She is polite will make sure that one understands what the hotel offers . Had a pleasant stay and will definitely come back.

In most regards this is a standard Premier Inn experience; our expectations about the beds and the bathroom, and about the room in general, were well fulfilled. The location is convenient to the west side of Bolton if one has a cycle or a car. Staff are friendly and readily available. Our only complaints centre on wifi, coffee, and bath towels, none of which were up to the usual Premier Inn standard. The wifi wasn’t working at all when we arrived around 9pm Saturday 6 April; rather than being informed of this failure when we checked in, we were left to discover it for ourselves and to enquire at reception. The next morning we found that although the wifi was working again, the wifi signal in our room, #19 on the ground floor, was too weak to associate with the network on the desk side of the room, and on the bed side of the room barely functional if one held the computer up against the headboard. (On scanning others’ reviews, I now see that complaints about the weak wifi are pere At check-in we were informed that, unlike other Premier Inns, this Premier Inn’s breakfast, located in the pub next door, opened only at 7.30am. On arriving at 7.30am we found only instant coffee; there was no brewed coffee. Finding only one large bath towel on the rack in the bathroom, and none in the wardrobe (we did check), we had to ask at reception in the morning for a second one. This was immediately and cheerfully provided, although it would have been nice to have had it in the room in the first place.

What a lovely friendly clean hotel. Booked for one night after a funeral, 28 .3 . 24. on arrival the receptionist was happy to see us and gave us a quiet room on the back. Unfortunately I didn't ask her name. It was a lovely comfy new bed and a pleasant change to see a very clean bathroom. Most premier inns are cleaned to a certain standard but the over flows and plug holes on sinks are often forgotten, but not at this one, They Gleamed. So well done to the staff on taking the time. Nice clean kettles too. Only one quibble was the hinges on the toilet seat could do with replacing, but this is a company issue for buying cheap fixings and nothing to do with the hotel staff.. it's an older hotel that has not had a recent refurb so hopefully it will get some new fixings soon. I can't comment the food next door as we didn't eat there .

When you book a Premier Inn, you always know what to expect but I wish I had read the previous reviews! There wasn't even enough phone reception to call home and I had to go out for the evening just to get some emails done, as even with the Ultimate Wifi code there wasn't enough signal to send even text emails. Staff said they know and it is worst when the hotel was full, but always pretty poor!

TV not working, only the receptionist on duty and she didn’t have a clue how to sort it. Evening meal shocking, chicken wings actually had ice in the middle ….. waitress was kind enough to offer me a free drink but that didn’t take away the fact the chef needs shooting.

Nice place, good clean rooms, very impressive welcome from Adele who also has a great stash of biscuits! Went over to the Greenking pub for dinner, good carvery, my collegue had the steak which he also thought was pretty decent. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

Granted I am not the usual client for this establishment. After travelling for 24 hours to get to the place and Arriving at 1430 to be informed by the staff with a shrug that it’s 10 pounds to check in early was a great start. Once I had sat in the car park and waited for 30 minutes I was able to check in free of charge and forget about the hospitality! My next question was the availability of WiFi, again a shrug but this time an explanation that the building has it but it doesn’t really work. And they were accurate it doesn’t, connects sometimes but often had no internet connection. The attached pub for meals was miserable with food luke warm and served with children running past… very relaxing. On a positive note, there is a McDonalds nearby with free access WiFi and very helpful staff

A great hotel in a great location that suited me perfect for work. Clean and comfortable. More importantly though, Customer Service was exemplary so massive kudos to Adele who checked me in and assisted with my queries and was great in conversation. An asset to Premier Inn.
