I wanted to book a 16-day stay at Jo&Joe but there was one night in that period I wasn't able to book through the website. I sent an email asking for help. However, nobody helped me book that night, despite the hostel telling they had the availability and me sending several emails. I was then suddenly informed that the hostel was fully booked on that date, so I had to book a different hostel just for that night. A few hours after their email telling me they were fully booked, I was informed that they did in fact have availability for that night (as they had initially told me). I now find myself in a situation where I need to move out from the hostel just for one night in the middle of my stay, which was totally avoidable if the hostel had acted competently. On a separate note, I have a HostelPass which entitles me to a discount on my stay and the hostel are refusing to honour it. I am very disappointed by the whole experience.
