"I stayed in Room 203 at Sant Jordi Hostels Sagrada Familia with 10 friends, and overall, it was a great experience. The room was clean, spacious enough for our group, and the bunk beds were comfortable with individual lights and outlets. The hostel has a fun and social atmosphere, which made it easy to meet other travelers. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the location was convenient—just a short walk to the Sagrada Familia and close to the metro. The only downside was that it could get a bit noisy at night, but that’s expected in a hostel this lively. Would definitely recommend it for group stays."

So if your roommate is the type who smells bad and gives off perfume, you will be hit directly by the smell.
The windows cannot be opened, and the air conditioner is set automatically at 20-25 degrees.
The washing machine is 4 euros, and the dryer is 3 euros.
The toilet and shower are next to each other, and the cleaner came in while I was taking a shower, and the detergent smell made me feel sick.
I could see how they were cleaning when they were using the hair dryer next to the sink, but I was put off when they started wiping the sink with the towel they had used to wipe the toilet. It may depend on the person cleaning, but...
I think the frequency of cleaning around the sink is quite high.
As is the case in many Spanish facilities, toilet paper cannot be flushed down the toilet.
The shared space was open.

I stay here for 1 night transit. The price is affordable, all the accommodation in Europe are crazy high.
The room I will say cozy, and you got your private storage, and the mattress and pillow are super comfortable.
The curtain rail on your bed is for your privacy, inside your bed also got light and two power socket.
But the main door closed and hard to bell and call them, please prepare the phone number incase you stuck at outside like me.
Negative experience is the toilet, too tiny, and the water supply is a problem, you need too keep pressing the 10 sec button when you shower.
And if your room got 4 pax, so you need to waiting tour turn in the morning."

観光スポットにアクセスしやすく立地は良いが、収容人数が多い分、同日に泊まるゲストの人数によって快適度はかなり左右されると思う。"

"The staff were friendly and helpful. I used the shower 3 times. Was it because I used it after midnight the first time? There was no perfectly warm water. The second time I used it was around 7pm. It was the same at that time, and it was the same at 7am at the end. I didn't ask them that. I felt the shower temperature was inappropriate. There appeared to be construction going on outside and inside.
Does that have any influence? I think so, but I don't know the result. As you can see in the photos of the hotel, the bunk beds had curtains and the light was completely blocked out, so I was able to sleep in the dark at any time, which was great.However, I was on the top of the bunk bed, and there was a ceiling above it. Even at 156cm
This is because when you sit on the bed, your head touches the surface. I couldn't even drink water. The bed was just for sleeping. However, there was plenty of common space and I spent most of my time there. Finally, when I checked out, they kept my luggage until 8pm. That was very helpful."

"The room has a lot of bunk beds in 1 room. A lot of rooms each floor.
There is a case to keep the big suitcase & other belonging under each bunkbed that need to prepare the locker by yourself if need to secure you things.
However, the room has musty smell & quite dark inside.
Location is very nice for seeing, eating and shopping."

"Very nice hostel with unique decorations. There is a shared kitchen where you can cook and eat by yourself. There is a leisure area where you can play billiards. There is also an office area. A free dinner event was organized the next day, with backpackers from all over the world. We had dinner together, the design of the bunk bed in the room, the bedding is also very clean, the bathroom is also cleaned very clean, no peculiar smell, the location is also good, there are subway stations and bus stations nearby, restaurants and supermarkets are not far away."

"Located in a developing area, the transportation was very convenient. I stayed there for three nights, and really appreciated being able to buy groceries and cook for myself, which was both economical and practical. The cleanliness was also quite good, and the secure lockers with automatic locks added to my peace of mind."

FFashion ExplorerLet me start off by saying if you are a solo traveler looking to meet other solo travelers, you should try other hostels like one fam.
This hostel has a lot of tour groups with young kids.
This hostel has the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced at any hostel or hotel ever!! The man in the front was so rude to me. Even if I arrive before check in time, you should still be accommodating. I asked the young man where can I put my luggage so I can walk around outside until check in time. He was very sarcastic and proceeded to say, “You see that sign that has luggage on it.” I’m like yes but it’s locked! He said you have to pay and then walked away. I asked him if I could check in early and he said no because I’m not in a group. So I watched everyone else check in early and get treated with the utmost respect because they were with a group and I wasn’t. Another solo traveler came up to me and said if you are friends with one of the staff you can check in early. He took me the staff that he was friends with with and helped me check in. This is so unprofessional!!! I paid a lot of money to stay there for one night and I need to be friends with one of the front desk workers to check in !!!!! If I could have gotten a refund I would’ve done so and went back to my other hostel.
Please don’t have “Ask about our walking tours” written everywhere and then when I ask you about the tours, you look confused and give me a website on how to find a tour guide which has nothing to do with your hostel!! I will never stay here again, nor would I recommend this place to anyone.
The rooms were amazing. You have your own bathroom with towels provided. There is also a balcony. The breakfast was also amazing.
The service at this place was awful and I did not find the staff accommodating at all. People are paying money to stay at your establishment!!!

CCarolinaSousaOne of the most beautiful hostels I stayed in Europe! The bedroom was exactly like in the pictures, and I love that there’s a balcony, and that clean towels are provided as well. According to the staffs, the building was an old bank, therefore on the lower floor they maintained the old bank vault that can be used for meetings or other gatherings. Not to mention my favorite horse shaped sink😍🤣
I have just a few suggestions: would be perfect if there were more hooks on the wall in the bathroom, as there was only 1, and also it would be nice to add some hooks by the bed as there weren’t space for us to dry our towels and to hang our jackets. Also the storage space is too small for some beds, as I was assigned bed no.3 and my storage is in one of the “step drawers” of the other bed. Overall, I loved and enjoyed my stay so much! And thank you to the receptionists, they were very helpful.

LLet’s tryIt was close to Catalunya Square within 7-8 minutes on foot, so it was nice to be able to get there without transferring from Barcelona Airport by airport bus. The temperature inside was low, but the information desk provided an additional heater, so I stayed warm without any problems. Also, as shown in the attached photo, the night view of the street, including the lighting store visible from the window, was beautiful.

I stayed at Safestay Barcelona Gothic from June 17–18, 2025, in a 12-bed mixed dorm. The experience was mostly positive.
✅ Pros:
The location is excellent — just a 5-minute walk from the metro, which made it easy to get around.
If you have an early flight (like mine at 08:30), this is a good place to stay as you can easily reach the airport in time.
The dorm, bathrooms, and common areas were all neat and clean.
Wi-Fi worked well throughout my stay.
The staff was friendly and spoke good English.
Definitely value for money.
⚠️ Cons:
The check-in time listed in my confirmation email was 14:00, but they didn’t allow check-in until 15:00. This was a bit inconvenient.
Breakfast was not included in the booking.
Overall, it’s a decent and budget-friendly option in a central area, especially for solo or budget travellers. I would recommend it for short stays.

GGuest UserThis was by far the best hostel I stayed at, and also the cheapest! It's a large operation, run with ruthless Catholic discipline. It's very clean, very ordered, very comfortable. Compared to other hostels as well it does not run a catchpenny operation - linen is free, breakfast is free, luggage storage is free, etc. All these things are used by other hostels to up to double the cost of your stay. The staff were very pleasant, and spoke English. One night there was a customer who was unruly - refused to turn their light off at about 3am - the staff came, remonstrated with him, and eventually (he wouldn't relent) told him to leave the hostel. In other hostels you would be left to suffer the tyranny of an ignorant customer. Booking is understandably very tight - book early and for your whole stay. After a disastrous previous hostel in Rome, this was a necessary restoration of my faith in travelling.

Hotel facilities: Look at the pictures for yourself, which were taken when I checked in that day. Look at the pictures for the bedding and linens, the bed is quite comfortable. Hotel decoration: Look at the pictures for yourself. Breakfast: Look at the pictures for yourself. I arrived at 14:00 in the afternoon and had a meal for 10 euros. Hotel service staff: I personally think they are very service-minded and were quite considerate during my stay. The pictures of the hotel match the pictures of the actual room I stayed in. It's a 10-minute walk from the subway, not far. The hotel is like a garden

ZZuleirisThey gave us a room that did not match the description on Trip. According to the girl at reception, Trip was to blame (we have never had any problems with Trip, everything has always been fine for us) and she also said that we could not be guided by the photos in the description that never matched, seriously!!!
Luckily it was only for one night because booking a room with a private bathroom and it doesn't have one: unforgivable. I can only say that it has a good location. I repeat this comment because it didn't come up before 🤔
