Huangshan Hostels

A memorable stay. The place is really nice and the owner is even nicer, so lovely and helpful and kind. She was very patient to explain about going up the mountain in writing so I can translate on my phone. I was rushing as I only had less than a day and she drove after me to pick me up on her scooter and get me to the bus station quicker. Rooms are perfect, bathrooms are plenty and work perfect also. There's also tea facilities if you like making tea.

I traveled to Huangshan from Shanghai (originally from Beijing) to climb the mountain and I found myself on Trip.com looking for a hostel that is clean and affordable. My search landed at this Kunlun Hostel in the downtown area. I love how accommodating the front desk people are. They only spoke a little English but they helped me out in booking my bus from downtown to the scenic area. It was already 10 p.m. but still they accommodated my request. I booked a bed in a six-bed dormitory but it was full when I arrived so they went ahead and gave me a room with three beds and an ensuite bathroom. Later, my two roommates arrived and made a new friend with one of them. She doesn't speak English while I speak basic Chinese. Stil,l we communicated in Chinese and shared our views and opinions about life, travel, and womanhood. It was wonderful! I love the cleanliness of this hotel and the free water every day. Toiletries were provided in the room as well as towels. The common area is quite spacious and you can buy refreshments at affordable prices. I took a Didi car from Huangshan North to this hostel. I love how convenient it is to do that! On my last night, I stopped by the Ancient Street for Mandarin Fish and foot massage. It was blissful! I am glad I booked my two-night stay at Kunlun Huangshan Downtown.

Parking is very convenient, the traffic is convenient, just near the transfer center, just a few steps away. The first floor is the restaurant of the boss's house, the food is delicious, the price is beautiful, always very satisfied

this is a really nice hostel, the room are very comfortable and super clean. there's a lovely common area. it's very close to the old town and bus station. Evan at reception is amazing, he speaks really good english and was super helpful and responsive when i asked questions prior to my arrival and during my stay. Best place to stay in Hongcun!

The best youth travel I have ever lived in. Xanadu, you can also play games with your friends. The manager is very good and the people who come here are very cute. There are cats in the store, and the little cockroaches are very cute. The meal made by the aunt is delicious, no less than what I ate at the scenic restaurant. There is a stream at the door, and you can walk with your partner manager after dinner. Xidi is much better than Hongcun. The biggest regret of this trip is that I have not lived in Xidi for two days. After all, Xidi is very close to Hongcun. The bus table is placed below.

A very cozy and comfortable youth hostel. I spent most of the afternoon here, sketching and playing musical instruments. It is the best place to just stay with my best friends and not think about anything. The boss has many musical instruments. We played the guitar, electric piano, accordion, flute, and ukulele here. The boss played guitar and sang folk songs for us, played harmonica, and gave us bracelets made of coffee beans. The price is also the most reasonable, and foreigners can be accommodated. We are 3 girls and 1 boy, and the boss left us a small loft space with 1 bed on the first floor and 3 beds on the second floor, which is very comfortable. The entire space is a wooden mortise and tenon structure, which is probably the most suitable homestay for local architectural structure found in Hongcun. It is 5 minutes away from Yuezhao, but there are not too many tourists around the homestay, it is very secluded and comfortable. The boss also invited us to drink tea. After staying for two days, I felt that the whole person's rhythm slowed down, and my body and mind were healed...
