"This hotel is very good. It is near Dafo Temple and can walk around 10 mins only. Also, we really appreciated and impressed the services of owner that not only provide welcome fruit and cookies but also help and advise us for the first day when arrived how to take care ourselves as it is very high location. They have very excellent service mind absolutely. Amenities inside room are really good and perfect. Furthermore this hotel provided round trip of transportation from Shangri-La railway station to hotel by free of charges. The room price is absolutely cheap compare what they provided and serviced. If we come back to Shangri-la again in future, we will book this hotel surely."

"Traveling with my furry child and the whole family, choosing this hotel was a complete win! The pet-friendly policy was such a pleasant surprise. The room was meticulously clean, and the diffused oxygen supply and central air conditioning were fantastic, making our high-altitude stay comfortable and breathable. The courtyard garden is absolutely beautiful, and it's super close to Dukezong Ancient City. The owner was incredibly warm and thoughtful, and so gentle with our pet. The entire stay exceeded our expectations, and we'll definitely choose this place again next time we're in Shangri-La!"

"This hotel was a huge, pleasant surprise! The room view was absolutely stunning, directly overlooking the old town, and I could even see the prayer wheel. All the staff, every single one of them, were incredibly friendly and helpful! They even offered to pick us up and drop us off at the old town entrance. It's conveniently located near the North Gate. The room itself was very spacious and comfortable, equipped with an oxygen machine and humidifier, among other amenities. Highly recommend!"

"This was the biggest room I stayed in during my Yunnan trip. Other places might make small rooms look big in photos (like 0.8x the actual size), but here, what you see in the pictures is exactly what you get. The location is excellent; it's less than a ten-minute walk to the Big Prayer Wheel (Guishan Park), and you can even see the old town's temples from your room. Turn right downstairs, and a convenience store is just a couple of steps away, with restaurants and beauty salons nearby too. The breakfast was delicious! The savory meat rice noodles were perfectly seasoned, and this morning they even gave me extra highland barley cakes. The kittens at the inn are adorable—a mom cat with two little ones (though all three are about the same size), and you can pet them! The front desk guy was super nice. On the way to pick us up in Shangri-La, he gave us lots of tips and suggestions for our itinerary and even dropped us off at Shangri-La Station when we left (*꒦ິ⌓꒦ີ). I highly recommend staying here! The room has underfloor heating, which keeps it very warm; sometimes it even felt hot at night (you can adjust the temperature yourself). When I checked out, I found out from the staff that they turn on the heating two hours before guests arrive, which is incredibly thoughtful and cozy!"

"Where do I even begin? My overall experience was simply fantastic. Let's start with the courtyard. The entrance has a rustic charm, and the whole courtyard feels elegant and serene. It's clear the owner converted their own home into this guesthouse. There are so many beautiful flowers and plants thriving in the yard, especially a cluster of multi-petaled roses. You can tell the owner has a real passion for life. There are also several cats and two sheep in the courtyard; one of the blue cats has gotten quite chunky and is absolutely adorable! The place feels so lively, and there's a strong sense of local ethnic culture, creating a wonderful atmosphere. The owner contacted us in advance about pick-up and drop-off. The young man who picked us up was very kind – I think he's the owner's son. He reached out to us beforehand and even helped with our luggage. Because the guesthouse isn't on the main street, it's very quiet and perfect for relaxing (though it's still very close to the main street, just a short walk away). Then there's the important part: the room. Since it was the off-season, the guesthouse was pretty quiet, and the owner let us choose our own room. The room has an overall wooden structure, and the decor has a strong, beautiful ******* feel. It was spotlessly clean and tidy, equipped with an oxygen concentrator and a humidifier. In winter, there's underfloor heating and electric blankets – everything you could possibly need. All toiletries were also provided. Next up, breakfast. The owner herself cooked millet porridge, steamed buns, and eggs, along with some side dishes. The matsutake mushroom and meat sauce were especially delicious! They went perfectly with the meal. Now, about the owner's family – they are all incredibly warm and friendly. Chatting with them, you realize they're genuinely kind people. They even gave us recommendations for attractions and tips for our visit. If we came back late and saw the owner, she'd always greet us with a few kind words. Although we only stayed for a short two days, we felt a real sense of belonging. Words can't fully express it, but I'll definitely recommend this place if I come back to Shangri-La or if any friends visit. Finally, I wish the owner lasting joy and health, and a thriving business."

"Today, I'm not going to talk about the environment, but rather the service. I drove a rental car from Lijiang to Shangri-La. When I arrived at the hotel, a kind staff member proactively helped me with my luggage and arranged a parking spot, everything seemed normal. The next day, as I was preparing to leave, I noticed that the windshield, hood, and front bumper had stone chips, and the windshield was cracked. The hotel staff member in charge actively searched through security footage but found no signs of human intervention. It was likely caused by strong winds the previous night blowing stones off the wall. Throughout this process, the hotel proactively called the police and cooperated with the insurance claim. They even offered to cover the rental car company's lost income fee, which was over 900 yuan, in addition to our room rate of over 600 yuan. They were also concerned about the impact on our subsequent travel plans and any potential delays. Setting aside the environment and other services, this level of responsibility alone makes this hotel worth choosing. When you're traveling, peace of mind is truly what you need. This review comes from someone who rarely writes positive reviews."

"The young owner is so hostile. He is the type who only answer for the sake of answering you. Not helpful at all. The oxygen rich guesthouse that was advertised weren’t completely true at all! The young owner warn us to only turn it on when we experience extreme difficulty in breathing. The stated free gifts weren’t given and you have to ask like a beggar. But of course I have to be honest that the elderly father is a very kind man indeed. Also, there wasn’t any 24 hours butler service as mentioned. However yes, they accommodate to it in the end. The location of the guesthouse can be very congested if you take Didi. So this may cost you more and might take a long time to get a car. Our room is situated next to the stairs which can be very noisy at night to midnight as young guests return around that time. Also, the so called room service is to only top up the toiletries, changed the towel (but damp towel), dispose the garbage bin. There were 3 adults but were only given 2 towels initially."

During check-in, I had quite a few questions, from small things like how to use the room's appliances to big things like nearby transportation, off-the-beaten-path attractions, and restaurant recommendations—a whole host of questions. The owner patiently and meticulously answered each one, even creating a simple itinerary based on my trip duration, which was incredibly thoughtful. The room was clean and comfortable, with a wonderful atmosphere, and the attentive service was the icing on the cake. There was no overly commercialized politeness, only genuine and heartfelt care, which greatly enhanced the overall enjoyment of my trip. Whether for a short trip or a long stay, it's perfect. I highly recommend it; it's a hidden gem of a guesthouse that you'll never forget."

"The hotel is located inside Dukezong Ancient city makes it easy to walk around. It is about 15min walk to visit giant prayer wheel. Pharmacy and mini markets are just 5 min walking distance from the hotel. The lady owner is very kind and helpful. She even assisted us to pick up Taobao parcels from different collection points (somehow not all couriers can deliver straight to the hotel). Though disposable bath towels were pretty provided but the owner was willing to give us 2 normal big towels as per requested. Last day, while we checked out to the train station, she also arranged a free taxi ride to send us there. Other than no free bfast, overall I'm happy to have my 3 nights stay here."

The various green plants are beautiful, and I'm truly impressed by how well the owner maintains all these flowers and plants. Sitting in the lobby for a bit, even just to daydream, is exceptionally relaxing. When you stay here, you don't have to worry about the service; everyone is incredibly warm and attentive. Every time I saw them, they had a smile on their face, which made me feel comfortable and welcome. When I asked the front desk for travel advice, they were very meticulous, introducing nearby attractions one by one, such as Meili Snow Mountain, Wudi Lake, and Tiger Leaping Gorge. They also offer one-stop services for popular attractions like shared rides, trekking, and car rentals, so you don't even have to bother with planning your itinerary. It's truly fantastic. Another point worth mentioning is that parking in the old town itself can be very troublesome due to narrow roads and limited spaces. Their private parking is a huge advantage for self-driving tourists. There's a spacious, exclusive parking lot within the courtyard with ample spaces. You can park your car and directly enter the lobby to check in, without having to walk a distance to the front desk, making the process simple and convenient. They can also help arrange electric scooter rentals to explore the old town, providing incredibly thoughtful service. The guesthouse offers a quiet environment amidst the bustle. Both its hardware facilities and attentive service are top-notch. It offers incredible value for money.
