"We stayed for a few days and gave positive reviews, but I have to complain about the hotel. Some of the so-called leaders lacked problem-solving skills, even worse than ordinary staff. We complained to the hotel that after breakfast, when we returned to our room, we suddenly saw someone coming out of our room. When we asked him why he hadn't greeted us before entering, he said he was checking for a leak. This was a bit baffling. I asked who he was, and he said he was a security guard. When we asked if there was a room mix-up—was it Building A or Building B?—he said he didn't know. We seriously suspected it was a thief, as he wasn't wearing a uniform or a name tag. When we complained to the hotel, the woman there said it was a minor matter and went on to boast about how good the hotel was. I said, ”Couldn't they at least call ahead before entering the room? If everyone can freely enter and leave a guest's room, what kind of security is that?” They never seemed to have any ill intentions towards us. We were originally planning to stay, but we checked out immediately."

I like the modern simple style of his house, the quiet style of the room decoration style, no fancy decoration, but every detail is textured.
The wooden furniture is matched with warm color lights, and it is particularly relaxing as soon as you enter the door. The bedding is moderately hard and soft, and the pillow height is just right. The separation of dry and wet in the bathroom is done well, and there is no scale in the corners. It can be seen that the boss has high requirements for hygiene.
What surprised me the most was the small courtyard! Not big but very life-like~ a tree full of purple myrtle flowers propped up a green shade, the petals swayed gently when the wind came, sitting on the oysters and drinking a cup of tea, feeling that time has slowed down. The ground was cleaned, and even petals were rarely seen, which could be seen every day.
In addition, they also provide independent packaging disposable towels, bath towels, with peace of mind.
After staying for more than a week, sometimes when you get up early to visit the market, you can see the boss and his wife change the sheets and quilt cover for the room that checks out early in the morning, and cleans it. It really does change one customer and one customer.
Overall, if you want to find a quiet and comfortable place to live for a few days, it is definitely worth a try."

"The first time I came to Shiping, I had a high expectation for a pillow cloud, because I saw a lot of evaluations and pictures before I came. I started to set it for three days, and I was reluctant to go and added another day, because it was really beyond expectations (no two days were added because there was no room on May Day). I have been to Yunnan many times. In fact, I am quite picky about the hotel. I can choose the hotel chain if I can live in a chain hotel, but a pillow cloud is really good.
Some advantages can be said:
1. Quiet! Very quiet! I am particularly afraid of noise, I have slept very comfortably these nights! Sound insulation is still very good!
2. The room and public area facilities are quite good, and the boss has worked hard to spend a lot of money! The public area is very popular, and the coffee is delicious (need to pay for it).
3. The two young ladies at the front desk are locals and hospitable!
4. Walking distance from Yilong Lake (but a little distance to the ancient city, it is recommended to rent a battery car)
If you come back to Shiping, you will still choose a pillow cloud."

"I'm totally captivated by the design of this guesthouse! The Instagram-worthy corner in the common area is amazing! The room has a fantastic view, and the bedding is pure cotton—I didn't want to get up once I lay down. The receptionist was incredibly attentive, not only introducing us to local delicacies but also helping us with our luggage. The location is near Yilong Lake, and the cleanliness was excellent. Overall, a perfect experience! The breakfast was especially delicious, and they even had seasonal fruit available for guests at the front desk! I've already recommended it to friends, and I'll definitely stay here again next time!"

"The room was nice, the facilities were quite new, and the bed was actually quite comfortable. The decor was also nice, and the location was excellent, directly facing the Confucius Temple. I took photos of the sunset in the evening and then of the Confucius Temple with its lights on that night. The staff were very welcoming. The accommodations were quite basic; there was no refrigerator and not much food, but you could wash your clothes outside, and there were clothes hangers to dry."
