"Room was comfortably big for 2 with a lot of walking space, and a decent view for tea drinking (doubles as a comfortable table for take-out dinner). Some of the furnishings feel older and/or can be improved, especially the bed headframe (had old worn-out markings) and waterproofing for the shower area (kept leaking out and pooling in the sink area). Though, we did have a good sleep with comfortable bedding. With a ctrip (携程) membership we are also able to access many shows on demand, making it a great way to spend time indoors especially during rainy weather. There is no lift, but props to the front counter for helping to bring our heavy luggage up to the 3rd floor thus saving us a lot of trouble. The best part of this stay is probably its location -- right at the heart of the Wuyishan main tourist area and an easy walk/short bus ride away from the mountain itself."

"Facilities: The facilities were super clean, and they had a washer and dryer, plus a tea set right in the room! Service: The front desk staff were all lovely! They greeted me warmly every day, and it was a pleasure interacting with them. Service: They upgraded me to a room with a view for free! Super nice! There was complimentary sweet soup every day, and they'd notify us in advance in the group chat. Any issues I raised were addressed very promptly. They even had foot-soaking tubs! Soaking my feet after a hike was incredibly relaxing. Plant rubbings/lacquer fan making (choose one): I chose the plant rubbings – a really unique experience!"

"Spacious and clean room. Some parts may be a bit old but still clean. It is just turning cold so no issues with insects and maybe less crowd so there's no issue of cigarette smell. I have a window facing the other building and so not much sunlight and during the day you can hear some sound of people but it quiets down quite fast. No issue for me. Plenty of eateries nearby. Wuyi gong and Dawang peak is nearby you can easily reach by bus no. 9 or walk crossing the bridge. The riverwalk just outside the hotel is also very nice. Returning from Wuyi gong, take bus no. 16 that ends outside Baodao hotel now known as 世季 that is near Jiujie Shansu. Free dessert is served at 8pm everyday and you will be informed on wechat. I find it very thoughtful. My wechat is on silent mode so it wasn't annoying to receive 3 msgs everyday."

"Focus on the environment and holiday atmosphere ”It is so wise to choose this hotel in Wuyishan this time! The overall environment is perfectly integrated into the green mountains and green waters of Wuyi Mountain, as if living in a landscape painting. The greening rate inside the hotel is extremely high, and birds can be heard everywhere. The air is fresh and refreshing. We set a view room, and the window is full of green. In the morning, we wake up in the sound of birds, and fall asleep listening to the sound of insects at night. The body and mind are completely relaxed. The architectural style is also very local, white walls and tiles, antique, There is no sense of contradiction with the surrounding scenery. There is also a small garden inside the hotel, and it is very pleasant to take a walk after dinner. It is very close to the entrance of the scenic spot. I am tired from playing and can return to this ”Xanadu” for the first time to rest. This feeling of quietness in the middle of noisy is great. "I would highly recommend this hotel to any tourist who like to go to Wuyishan Scenic Area. The locality is so convenient and near to all the restaurants and eating street. It is located at the main road and near to the public bus stop and walking distance to Impression Dahonhpao Show. The free shuttle buses is at short walking distance and access to the scenic entrance and high speed rail. The receptionist are very polite and helpful. The room is very spacious and clean. The daily housekeeping maintains at a good standard."
