Matsuyama Castle is also within walking distance. 💁 **Service** The front desk staff provided good service with a proactive attitude, which is quite rare for hotels in Japan. 🛏️ **Facilities** The facilities are quite comprehensive, typical of a standard business hotel. The bathroom has a separate wet and dry area, and the shower space is ample. There's also a coin-operated washing machine, convenient for longer stays. Overall, this hotel offers great value for money, with a convenient location, spacious and clean rooms, and excellent service. It's perfect for a short stay in Matsuyama."

"The location is excellent, very close to the JR station, making it super convenient. While the room was a bit on the small side, it was impeccably clean. A really nice touch was the self-service amenity bar on the second floor, offering a wide variety of toiletries. Very thoughtful!"

"They treat Western guests with far more enthusiasm. When checking in alongside Western guests, the front desk staff only escorted them to their floor, completely ignoring Asian guests like me. It's 2026, and this kind of preferential treatment for Westerners is so out of touch and frankly, a bit embarrassing. On top of that, the duvet cover was torn. Is the hotel really struggling that much? 😓 I'm staying here for three nights purely because I can't be bothered to switch hotels. Matsuyama Castle is quite nice, though. As an established hotel in Matsuyama, I'd hope for a bit more class and professionalism. Also, the room is a bit cramped; it's difficult to open a 30-inch suitcase."

"Originally, I was going to go to another hotel, but the hotel I found in a hurry was here because the reservation was closed. At the time of booking, there was no postscript on Trip.com, and I was a little worried, but I decided because it was too close to the free airport bus ride for Koreans. On the contrary, unlike the ones who were worried because there was no postscript, the staff were always kind and listened to the request immediately The room is not very spacious due to the characteristics of Japanese hotels, but it was enough for two people to stay and there was a space for about two 26-inch carriers to spread out. When I booked a non-smoking room, I assigned it to a really clean room, and when I opened the curtain, I could see Iyotetsu passing by. It wasn't noisy because the train passed by, and the soundproofing was good, so I couldn't sleep or did anything due to noise. During my 6 days and 5 nights, I almost saw the male staff, but when I came in and out, I saw them greet me without a break, and I felt a lot of kindness. I was waiting to leave my luggage on the day of check-out, so the female staff came up first and asked me what I needed and helped me leave my luggage right away."
