The hotel's location was excellent, and the cleanliness of the room was outstanding. For a budget hotel, these aspects were definitely the highlights of my stay.
However, I was disappointed with some of the room facilities. The plug sockets were located on the opposite side of the room from the mirror, which made it very difficult to use my hair straighteners and hairdryer while being able to see what I was doing. There was also no hairdryer provided in the room, so I had to rely on my phone camera as a mirror, which was far from ideal.
I appreciate that this is a budget hotel, but I would suggest either positioning plug sockets closer to a mirror or providing an additional mirror where sockets are available. This would make a big difference for guests getting ready.
I spoke to reception to ask whether I could borrow an extension lead or an additional mirror, but both requests were refused. Unfortunately, I also found the staff member's response quite dismissive and unfriendly, as I was simply told that these items were not supplied.
My main suggestion would be for the hotel to clearly mention these limitations in its description so that guests can come prepared if needed. Had I known in advance, I would have brought alternative arrangements with me.
Overall, the cleanliness and location were excellent, but the room setup and customer service could be improved.
