Hostel in a apartment with excellent facilities, but may be a little bit far away from public transports. Quiet neighborhood, and the bed was big and comfortable.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at a youth hostel that truly stood out for its exceptional qualities. Nestled in a residential area, its location was incredibly convenient, offering a tranquil retreat just a bike ride away from the city center—less than 10 minutes to be exact. This made for peaceful nights, ensuring a restful sleep in a safe environment.
The hostel is run by a delightful couple whose hospitality knew no bounds. They were not only eager to assist with any issues that arose but also went above and beyond by providing bicycles. This thoughtful touch significantly enhanced my mobility around Houston, allowing me to reach various destinations swiftly.
What set this hostel apart was the attention to detail and the array of complimentary amenities, including cookies, milk, cereal, coffee, and tea. The cleanliness and smart technology throughout the house contributed to a seamless stay, making it the best hostel experience I've ever had. The bathroom towels folded into swan shapes were a testament to the owners' dedication to detail, adding a touch of elegance and care.
The warmth of the place was akin to being at home, with the owners always ready for a chat, eager to answer questions, and share their stories and experiences. A highlight for me was the world map on the living room wall, where guests could pin their home countries—a fun and interactive way to connect with fellow travelers.
In summary, this hostel was more than just a place to stay; it felt like a home, or perhaps more accurately, a homestay. It's undoubtedly the best hostel I've ever stayed in globally, blending the comfort of a home with the adventurous spirit of a hostel.

The host couple of the hostel are warm and friendly
The hotel is very new, just opened in August 2023, clean, spacious and quiet
Check-in instructions are very clear
The bed is very comfortable
Breakfast includes pastries, bread, cereal, and instant noodles
The public area on the second floor is also very nice
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
The hostel hosts Harold and Cathy couple is caring, kind, hospitable

Everything in MyCrib is thoughtful and considered to make it as comfortable and smooth a stay as possible. All the small details of decor, facilities, arrangement and systems add up to ensure I had what I needed. The premises are beautiful, uncluttered and clean. Harold and Cathy are warm and welcoming hosts. It was a great base for exploring midtown downtown and east downtown on foot and close to transport.

After 17 or more years of traveling this is my favourite family hosted hostel! Breakfast feels like back home with family. Rooms, kitchen and living area are very clean and cosy. Herald and cathy are super helpfull and lovely. Thanks for everything! Salamat sa lahat!

Airport (IAH) that is far about 29 km N. ride Bus #102 +1$ Ticket +every 20-30 Min. +working from 04:42-23:42 until last stop in D.T. then walk about 2 km S.E. or ride another Bus #11-54 or take Tram (Red Line) against 1.25$ /for 3 hrs. From another Airport (HOU) that far 15 km S.E. ride Bus #73 +Bus #11-54. “Randalls” big Supermarket & CVS walk about 1.5 km N.W. Space Center (NASA) 45 km S.E. there is no Bus. “Sylvan” Beach or Port are about 40 km E.S. ride 3 different Buses, I can’t do, #9-11-82-137 +Bus #40 +Bus #7. Wonderful and Great experience. This hostel has a good location. The bed is comfortable and the services are fantastic. I recommend it for anybody visiting Houston now and in the future. I will be coming to this place when I visit Houston in the near future
