Ramada by Wyndham Houston InterContinental Airport East

I recently stayed at this hotel and while it had some redeeming qualities, my overall experience left a lot to be desired. Here's a breakdown of my stay: Pros 1. **Affordable Price**: The room rates were budget-friendly, making it suitable for travelers looking for a cost-effective option. 2. **Staff**: The staff was polite and tried to be helpful, though they seemed understaffed at times. Cons 1. **Amenities**: Basic amenities like toiletries, fresh towels, and a working air conditioner felt subpar. The Wi-Fi was slow and unreliable, making it difficult to stay connected. 2. **Noise**: The walls were thin, and I could easily hear people talking and walking in the hallways, which made it hard to get a good night's sleep. Overall Experience: It might be a decent option for someone on a tight budget and just to stay for one night, but I would recommend spending a little more to stay somewhere with better facilities.

The worst stay I've had in a hotel for years. It's started in the evening with the night manager not greeting me and just working in the back when I'm trying to check in. I reminded her I was waiting after 10 minutes and got the response she was busy. No one else there. Took 20 min to get my key. Open the door to my room with a dying cockroach right there. Went back to get my room replaced. Another wait, asked for a higher floor to get away from  what happened and she put me 3 doors down. The service is terrible here. Spend a bit more and buy some respect from another hotel in the area. This place looks and feels like a dump.

I stayed here during a lay over , the hotel is very close to the airport and offers free shuttle to and from the airport which is great. The hotel itself is clean and rooms are fine , my only issue is that the walls are made of paper you can hear everything around you, we couldnt sleep as the neighbour left their TV on all night and on the other side there was crying babies. Normally you cant hear this but it felt like it was in my room. If staying here try to get a room that has no one at either side

The check in desk group were not friendly or helpful. I had an issue with a missing wallet which was pretty stressful. I became invisible with no ID. Once I did locate my wallet there wasn’t much improvement with service. At check out the morning crew was preoccupied which I did understand but no acknowledgement  or polite “be right with you.” Little bit of kindness goes along way for travelers.

Check-in was extremely slow, it took more than an  hour to get the room key. Booking a shuttle to airport was first come first serve, when we checked in, we could only book a shuttle for next morning after 9am, or early morning 3am, but they claimed 24-hour shuttle, ridiculous.

Lied about having their own shuttle. It is a shuttle service. Waited an hour to get shuttle. Stories from driver and hotel were different each call. Messed up room. Did not get our king room we booked. Dirty and no service to clean up. No apologies just rude. Said could clean in morning. Really after we check out? Offered to send up towels to cover floor. Waited for over an hour until laid down. Morning and still no towels. Didn’t change sheets because dark fluff in the bed all over it. Never again
