We found the Mandarin when we were walking around the area looking for alternative accommodation as what we originally booked didn’t meet our needs. We were able to secure a superior room with air and fan. The pool was a big plus for us as we used it daily. The bed was not the greatest though and rather hard and the bedding had seem better days. But we were provided four pillows as requested so grateful for that. The cleaning staff were excellent and very friendly. Reception staff very helpful when we were looking for a new hotel and let us view the property. This hotel has the potential of being exceptional with a bit of elbow grease by the owner. Room 17 toilet was built on a platform about 18” high. This was quite dangerous without a grab bar. I suspect the reason was a plumbing issue, so again, with a bit of maintenance the hotel would be great. We liked the location as it was walkable to Hua Hin beach and the 100 baht beach chairs. A kettle is provided.

It’s very poor and not best situated. You have to be 5ft tall to be able to walk up the stairs without hitting your head not ideal when the bathroom is downstairs. The pictures of the pool are not accurate. Better places near and cheaper. Cat mess outside my door this morning. Because of the stairs I had to sleep on single bed I’ve slept on more comfortable camp beds. This is the first time I’ve made a bad comment.

top location, owner very friendly, a great pool for a nice cool down or an afternoon to do nothing at all. also a perfect bar on the corner, the Buffelo23, delicious breakfast and a nice cold draft glass of beer. very well recommended. Rooms are perfect

Nice and Clean hotel. Very good location and good place front the beach, neAr night market and restaurant. Have very good and clean swimming pool and a friendly owner... I highly recommend this place!!

We couldn't see the other rooms, we got a triple a bit outside the hotel and we were really disappointed. First of all, the seafront is non-existent because there are no places to sit and everything is under construction. Then the triple room, a double bed okay but two small extra beds. One very thin and extremely hard first bed and the other I could count every spring during the night. Nothing is isolated therefore mosquitoes and surrounding noises. The air conditioning works very well but given the insulation and the bedroom under the roof we are forced to put it on full …. The pool is cute with a few sunbeds but the water a bit dodgy. The receptionist was kind to us and we ended up spending just one night.
