It's a bit of a shame that the rooftop bar wasn't open, but overall the experience was still quite good. The views were amazing. I hope more areas will be open if I get to visit again.

The room was incredible. Very Modern, large, beautifully designed and furnished. Bed very comfortable. Medium softness. Bathroom luxurious. Had a table and corner seating area in the room. Large windows with incredible views of the harbour. The main foyer is beautiful. You really feel like a resort hotel. Location right in the heart of the city. Only 10 in taxi from train station. Breakfast great option, many options. The staff are very friendly, attentive, helpful. They booked a last minute private driver CJ Chen for a 5 hour tour into the gorge. Good English and knowledgeable. This is the nicest hotel we have stayed in while in Taiwan.

The service quality was extremely disappointing, particularly the staff member responsible for making omelets at the breakfast area. Their performance was far below the standard expected from a Marriott brand. For the price, the value for money was very poor. While the hotel's facilities and location are good, there are clearly serious issues with internal management and staff training. The overall service experience was very frustrating and impacted our entire vacation. If you don't want your precious vacation to be marred by unpleasant memories, I strongly advise you to reconsider staying here.

Everything about this hotel was great. It's probably the best-equipped hotel in Hualien. The only downsides are the surrounding area isn't particularly impressive and it's a bit far from the sea. You can still get a sea view from the room, but the breakfast selection was a bit limited.

The hotel's location is excellent; you can walk to explore all of Hualien city. The staff provide outstanding service, always kindly assisting with any issues. The gym facilities are fantastic, with a comfortable space, great environment, and very professional equipment, even stair climbers, which is great for guests who want to work out! I will definitely visit again. Thank you for your hospitality.

The hotel is very close to Dongdaemun, within walking distance. Many famous Hualien eateries are also nearby. Parking is convenient, and there's an EV charging station, though you'll need to check the connector type. Both the rooms and breakfast are excellent.
