Hualien Kuan Pin Ju station Hostel

This was my first stay here, and the biggest plus is that the room rate is really sweet and a great deal! For a family of four traveling, this price is truly excellent value 👍🏻 However, in terms of the accommodation environment, there are some areas where cleanliness could be improved, and the room's fixtures and facilities are quite basic. Overall, it's a case of 'you get what you pay for.' If you're just looking for a place to rest and sleep for a night, it's perfectly acceptable. During this stay, it happened to be raining heavily in Hualien. Upon arrival, I noticed the ceiling in the ground floor lobby was leaking, which somewhat affected the impression of the stay. But considering such sudden heavy rain, it's probably something the owner couldn't have easily foreseen. I hope they can improve it soon. Overall, if your main consideration is 'affordable price, just for sleeping,' this place is still worth considering, offering pretty good value for money ☺️

The tables downstairs were covered in ants! The mattress springs were poking out! When it rained, the ceiling by the entrance was leaking.

The service was just okay. The bathroom facilities only included towels; there was nothing else provided.

The location is quiet and convenient for parking, but it's a 10-minute drive to the nightclubs. I booked a double bed, but it was two single beds pushed together. The joined area was uneven, making it very uncomfortable to sleep, and the mattress itself wasn't comfortable either. If this could be improved, everything else would be pretty good.
