Cullinan Hotel

The space is clean and minimalist, with spotless white bedding and soft lighting that creates a peaceful atmosphere. There's no excessive luxury here, but the meticulous cleanliness and quietness wash away the fatigue of a day's travel, offering guests the purest, most relaxing and comfortable stay.

Traveling solo, I was looking for the comfort of a business hotel. After a quick search for business hotels in Hualien, I found this one had the best value for money, and the pictures across various platforms sealed the deal. It turned out to be excellent! The double bed was large and very comfortable. The room was spacious, with a corner between the entrance and the bed, so even with a lot of luggage, it wouldn't be an issue (unlike hotels in Taipei where two suitcases can often be a squeeze). The hot water in the bathroom came out quickly and had good pressure, and the air conditioning worked perfectly. I didn't pay much attention to the TV as I was mostly on my phone or sleeping in the room 😪. The only minor flaw I could find was that the wall by the headboard wasn't perfectly soundproof, and I could hear some noise from the adjacent room, but luckily, my neighbors weren't noisy. I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Hualien; no need to look for other places, haha!
