Large, clean, and modern room with good views. Good breakfast, fantastic outdoor pool, decent indoor pool, and well-furnished leisure centre. The gym equipment is quite outdated and somewhat limited, though. Beautiful surroundings and large garden.

The hotel offers pick-up and drop-off services to the train station. Laundry and drying cost 110 NTD, and the front desk provides change. The hotel staff are very patient. It's about 3-4 kilometers from the city center, and a taxi ride costs 170 NTD. The location is quite convenient. Within a 15-minute walk, there are convenience stores and seafood restaurants. There's also a convenience store inside the hotel. The hotel's pool is beautiful, though the gym is a bit basic. Next to the gym, there are many recreational facilities. The view from the hotel room is fantastic.

My overall experience at Hualien Park City Hotel was wonderful. The hotel environment is excellent, with lush greenery that made it feel like I was staying in a forest resort. It was very quiet and relaxing. The hotel facilities are also quite extensive, with a swimming pool and leisure areas. It was very comfortable just to stay in the hotel without going out. The breakfast timing was a huge plus – it's available until 1:30 PM, which is incredibly friendly for travelers who want to sleep in. No need to rush for breakfast at all. The location is also very convenient. It's easy to get a taxi, not far from the beach (about 10 minutes), and about 10 minutes to the train station. Overall, getting around was very easy. The staff were also very helpful and patient whenever I needed assistance, making the overall experience very pleasant. If you're traveling to Hualien and want a comfortable stay with convenient transportation and a great environment, this hotel is highly recommended.

The hotel is pretty good, probably one of the better ones in Hualien, but it definitely feels a bit dated. Also, the downstairs restaurant only offers a buffet, no à la carte options.

For the location, it's quite far out from the center of Hualien. So you will need to hail a taxi or call the reception desk to book a shuttle bus to pick you up from the station and to the station. Another thing to know is that Uber doesn't work here so you will need to download another app or just physically hail a taxi. However, this is the best hotel I've stayed so far in Taiwan. The room & toilet are extremely spacious and clean. There is a lot of facilities in this hotel that includes a free pool table, ping pong table and swimming pool for you to enjoy. The breakfast buffet is also quite good with a lot of selection as well.
