Beautiful hotel! The building is a little older but everything is very well maintained, the rooms are large, very clean, bright, comfortable and pretty, I've been travelling for 6 weeks now and this was the best place I stayed at so far. The staff are very kind and helpful, I had some issues due to a typhoon and had to spontaneously add another night but it all went smoothly. The location is excellent, you can even see the main station from the entrance of the hotel, that's how close it is! All the buses to all the sightseeing places (and everywhere else too, really) depart from the main bus station, which is even closer still (and Dongdamen night market is actually also still walking distance, takes about half an hour). Nonetheless it was nice and quiet at night. Plenty of convenience stores around too and a full supermarket is right next to it as well. Breakfast was good too! Would absolutely stay there again and now that I'm in the next hotel (definitely not as nice already)I kind of miss it already...

This is a five-star hotel, probably one of the best in Hualien. The design is excellent, the craftsmanship is good, and the front desk service is also very good. The breakfast is average; one day I noticed the cut surfaces of the vegetables were discolored, probably from the previous day, perhaps because there were few guests. There's complimentary afternoon tea and snacks (some of the snacks should be heated up). However, the mosquitoes in the lobby and rooms are quite numerous. Some floors were not open to the public. The exterior windows are very dirty, and the cloth headboard is difficult to clean; the headboard itself is dusty and not properly cleaned. I'm quite picky, and I hope you can improve on these points.

The hotel is very close to the train station, just a few minutes' walk away, which is super convenient. There are lots of great little restaurants nearby with delicious food. The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel also offers private car tour services, and there are many small travel agencies in the vicinity to choose from.

Very clean and comfortable room, pretty new. Breakfast was simple with good salads but limited proteins, usually eggs and sometimes, sausages or ham. We stayed two nights..Nice rooftop views. Cons: just two clothes hangers provided. We were forbidden to park in the property’s carparks just because we did not booked directly with them, but through third party booking platforms. This is discrimination. Although the hotel staff did help us to find street side parking, we had to relocate and find somewhere to park our car three times at night! Very annoying indeed!

Hotel service above my expectations with a budget price. And spacious with clean. I like the breakfast buffet with lots of choices.

The hotel is about 1.5km from Hualien Station, and a bit tricky to find as it's tucked away in an alley off the main Zhongshan Road. However, a taxi from Hualien Station got me there quickly once I told the driver the hotel name. While the hotel staff don't speak Japanese, they are proficient in English. They are also cheerful and helpful, and use translation apps on their phones to communicate, so any issues can be easily resolved. There's a coin laundry right next to the hotel, which is convenient for washing clothes. The hotel is in a city area with plenty of restaurants, convenience stores, and supermarkets nearby. The room I stayed in had a combined toilet and shower, with only a shower curtain separating them. You need to be careful, as the curtain can easily open and soak the toilet area. (Be warned!) If your plan includes breakfast, you'll receive breakfast tokens (coins) for each person upon check-in. Breakfast is a buffet with a good variety of tasty options. The dining room tables and chairs are made from large, single slabs of wood, which is quite unique for Japan. You're expected to clear your own dishes after eating and place the breakfast tokens in a box by the dining room exit. Next to the hotel lobby, they sell cute deer-themed merchandise like keychains, wallets, and hand towels.

When I called to inquire about parking, I was only told the hotel's address and that parking was available on either side of the hotel or at a partner Times parking lot. However, after parking at the partner lot, I found out that parking was actually available on both sides of the hotel's inner courtyard, and the partner parking lot only allowed one entry/exit per day. I was advised to prioritize parking in the courtyard. The courtyard, however, had no designated parking spaces. When I asked how to park effectively without obstructing other residents, the staff couldn't give a clear answer, only stating that both sides were available for parking. In reality, I noticed that cars were parked at varying distances, which ended up blocking the parking area and making parking inconvenient.

Had a very underwhelming experience for the money that we paid for this hotel. Decor was very outdated (i.e. 2000s), which was understandable as this is an old hotel. Service staff was quite rude when we asked for directions and recommendations for food and things to see around the area. Do note that the carpark is very small and there are no parking lots surrounding the area. When we checked in, the carpark attendant told us that their carpark lot was at full capacity.
