Hualien Hualien City 4-star Hotels

Highly recommended to any foreign tourists to stay at Fulkind hotel if you ever plan to visit Hualien.  The location is marvelous ie within town centre and only 5 mins walk to the famous hualien night market.  Service provided by the hotel staffs was tip top. Room is clean n tidy. Also free car park available.

Hotel provides free afternoon tea and snacks for guests, as well as supper. Staff were friendly and helpful. Location is good, within walking distance to the night market. The hotel emailed us as we had left some items in our rooms while hurriedly packing our bags. My sister and I were caught in the earthquake on 0403. Thanks to the professional front desk agents, we were able to get to the train station in hope of catching an afternoon train back to Taipei. Unfortunately, after waiting for about 3 hours, we were informed that all trains were cancelled. Our guide, Mason, who took us on the Taroko gorge tour the day before, was super super kind and helpful who went out of his way to rent a car and drove all 7 of us from the tour group to Kaohshiung. We spent the night there before taking the hsr to Taipei. Mason is truly exceptional, authentic and passionate. We are really grateful to Mason. Indeed, we are blessed to have met kind hearted souls in Hualien. Our thoughts and prayers are with the people of Hualien, Taiwan.

The hotel is conveniently located, with good facilities and hygiene. The rooms are also well soundproofed, and the service staff are warm and welcoming. It is a good accommodation choice. The only complaint is that the parking lot is small and requires some parking skills.

Fortunately, I was upgraded to a 4-person room with double bed. It's close to the train station, the room is big and bright, the bed is just right, there's a bathtub and a toilet with warm water, and there's even a Dyson hairdryer... This time, trains were suspended due to the 4/3 earthquake. The store has also extended its stay to all residents at a preferential price (free late-night snack set, breakfast the next day) Very sincere👍

Great hotel. Stayed in the twin room with ocean views and balcony. The room is very clean, comfortable and quiet. The outdoor pool and jacuzzi on the third floor is a treat. A swimming cap is compulsory. They sell it at the hotel for $120 TWD. The hotel is about 2km from the city centre. They provide a complimentary shuttle service on the hour from morning to 5pm. Just ask the concierge. It was a very pleasant stay.

I booked three rooms, and the check-in process at the counter was very fast, no need to wait. Stayed in a sea view room. The room is on the 9th floor and can see the sea. It is very comfortable. On the night of check-in, there is a coupon that can be exchanged for a late-night snack. I chose a sweet soup and a salty soup, both of which were delicious! The exchange staff were also very polite. The breakfast has many items and is delicious. There is a children's game room, and there are also some recreational activities (such as wine bottle sets, balancing pinball tables...) which are very good Good location, just walking distance to Dongdaemun Night Market

A nice hotel that is very conveniently located near the Hualien Bus Station (5mins walk) and Hualien Train Station (10mins walk) which means transportation around the area isn’t an issue. The room was clean and spacious - can fit two full-sized luggage comfortably with ample walking space. The service was very prompt as well - called front desk for more hangers and received them between 5-10mins. Wide variety of food for the buffet breakfast as well - porridge with condiments, toasts, cooked food. Would recommend this hotel for the transport convenience, good service and room size!

New -Small - beautiful design hotel in good location, not far from shopping street. No Restaurant in the hotel but free snack and drinks are provided in dining lounge so we can bring food from outside to eat there. Yummy Gong Zheng Bun Store 花蓮公正包子店 is only a few minutes away from the hotel

The hotel is about a 15-minute drive from the airport/Dongdaemun, and the reception staff will also help with taxis. But there are no shops nearby, and there is a sports ground to watch the sea. Recommended restaurants nearby include Sarugawa River, Sabi Sabi cinnamon rolls, country mother's, and Milundon Rice House. The hotel has a washing machine and dryer (a total of NT$100), switch/table tennis balls can be borrowed, and sauna facilities. The room is clean. If you need cleaning, please contact the front desk. There is a free welcome drink every day, and water must be replenished at the water dispenser outside the room. The overall accommodation experience was good and would be recommended.
