Staying here feels less like checking into a hotel and more like being an honored guest in the elegant compound of a noble family. The service is exceptional. Each guest is assigned a personal butler, and ours, Ellen, was simply outstanding. She assisted us with everything imaginable—from arranging transportation and handling in-house requests to booking restaurants in the next town on our itinerary. Nothing seemed too much trouble. More than that, Ellen felt like a younger sister to us—warm, caring, and always looking out for us throughout our stay. It is rare to encounter someone who combines professionalism with such genuine kindness, and she made our experience all the more memorable. The hotel’s restaurant serves refined Huizhou cuisine once enjoyed by the region’s wealthy merchant families. Every dish was delicious. All in all, Su House is a truly remarkable place to stay.
