Huangshan Huizhou District 4-star Hotels

I found this hotel when I was on vacation with my family. I was unexpectedly surprised. The room was spacious and very clean. The front desk service was also very good. The response to requests was very fast. The breakfast was also good. I will choose this hotel next time.

Phenomenal hotel. If it were in Europe it would probably feature in Wallpaper or some other pretentious style magazine. 徽商 architecture carefully restored. Beautiful outdoor swimming pool and loungers. Fresh fruit in room. Friendly local service. Interesting village to potter round with place up the lane “55” serving good coffee and warm cinnamon rolls. Travel was not like this in the 90s. I was upgraded (midweek stay) so amazing value for money for a spotless, stylish room with outdoor seating. 10 minutes from 黄山北站 so super convenient. They contacted me on WeChat and arranged a driver. 15 RMB.

Really nice person keeping the place. The room is big and clean. Upstairs is warm but downstairs a little bit cold during winter time but it is not really a problem. The view from the room on the lake is amazing. The village is very quiet and less touristy than other place like Hongcun. The breakfast is made from fresh veggies and is tasty. We really appreciate the place. They also serve very good coffee.

I took my parents to Huangshan and chose this hotel. We upgraded to a lake view room with a balcony. The elderly were very satisfied. The scenery outside the window was nice. We had a lot of luggage, and the front desk was responsive and helped us with the luggage. The restaurant deserves praise. The stinky mandarin fish, tofu, braised pork, and dried bamboo shoots were all good. We had all three meals in the hotel. The hotel park has a nice view and is very photogenic. It is 2 kilometers away from Xixi South

The renovations were noisy during the day, the breakfast room's sun room was very hot, the public washing machine had no disinfectant, and at 9am during the morning rush hour, the plant delivery person occupied one of the two elevators... I booked the hotel because it is close to the high-speed rail station. They said there is a free shuttle service to the station. I reported it the day before, but when I confirmed it in the morning, they said there was no car. I asked why there was no car after reporting it, and they said there was nothing they could do as the driver would not be back in time! The place is very remote in an industrial area, with nothing nearby. It is not easy to get a taxi. In order to catch the high-speed train, I had to pay extra to get a taxi. It feels like this hotel has no idea how to run a hotel, and almost all details are not managed.

The most unexpected surprise of this trip to Huangshan was to live in Guanzhiyuan. Originally, I was a casual accommodation, but I didn't expect that from check-in to departure, the whole process was taken care of properly. The room was more comfortable than expected, the mattress was just soft and hard, and the whole person was relaxed when I lay on it. After playing, I had back pain. As a long-term insomnia patient, I slept here until I woke up naturally and I was exhausted. The afternoon tea snacks are very exquisite. Although this time I tried Chinese afternoon tea, I still felt full of sincerity. (The wine is super delicious) The breakfast is rich in variety, each one is delicious, and a bowl of topping noodles is under the stomach. It feels particularly comfortable. I can feel that the store has spent a lot of thought on food. The environment of the homestay is very clean, the decoration style is antique and not a sense of design, the yard is surrounded by green plants, the scenery is pleasant, and the air is fresh. It is especially pleasant to sit there and have a cup of tea. What touched me most was the store's service. The person in charge and the staff were very kind. They chatted like friends. When they came back late, they would care about whether I was safe. The next day I took the high-speed rail and personally sent me to the station. Really a caring person in charge. I think travel is a way to cure myself, so I will prefer to choose a homestay than a cold hotel, and this time the choice allows me to have a ”home” in Huangshan for a short time. If I come back next time, I will definitely choose Guanzhiyuan! I really recommend it to all friends who come to Huangshan to play. (I heard from the person in charge that March and April will be very beautiful here. I have already started to look forward to the next trip to Huangshan. Hehe)

The garden design is beautiful, the interior design is convenient, and the key is that the price-performance ratio is really high. And it breaks my perception of homestays. I always think that the management of homestays may have some problems and the hygiene may not be in place, but this one is really super clean. It's the only homestay where you can take a bath with confidence. All service staff are very good. They have basic confirmation of the itinerary pick-up station and will help coordinate the arrangements for guests. The toiletries are also very easy to use. After taking a bath, you can go directly to the public bathroom. Although it is also small, the toiletries are complete. In short, the design is full of humanistic care everywhere. The overall feeling is comparable to that of a high-end hotel. The tea sent is also very fragrant. Before leaving, a small bag of tea was sent as a souvenir. The only drawback is not the hotel but the scenic spot. Although Xixinan has become popular online and commercially bustling, the overall hotel and shopping facilities are not yet very complete (mainly reflected in the fact that when I was taking a bath too comfortably and wanted to order a milk tea, I found that there was no takeout from the chain milk tea shops around, hahahahahaha)

Although the room is not large, it makes full use of the space and adds a sliding door to separate the sleeping area and the resting area. The B&B has many large public areas. There are lounge chairs and rocking chairs in the courtyard, a pavilion for drinking tea, a tea room, a library with old objects displayed, etc. It is a B&B with a sense of life. The boss and others are hospitable, generous in explanation and attentive service, making guests feel at home. Contact the boss in advance when arriving and leaving to provide pick-up and drop-off services to the entrance and exit of the scenic spot.

The internal facilities are modern, complete and full of design details. It is suitable for both ancient and modern times and is surrounded by art and humanities. The room was clean and comfortable. What's more worth mentioning is that from the housekeeper to all the service staff, the thoughtfulness and customer-oriented service awareness make people feel full of sincerity from the reception to the farewell. In addition, the food is delicious. It is recommended to have dinner at the hotel. There are surprises every day for breakfast, afternoon tea and good night desserts. The coffee in the hotel is also very good.
