The hotel's location is excellent, right next to the tour bus station and quite close to Huangshan North Station. There are plenty of dining options downstairs, so you won't go hungry. The bus stop isn't far either, making it convenient to get to Huizhou Ancient City or Tunxi Old Street. The room was spacious and well-equipped, with both the soft and hardware being top-notch. The staff were very friendly, and I had a very satisfying stay.

This has been one of my favourite stays of all time. The owners treated me like family, they even invited me to sit down and have dinner with them since the timing was right and I was a solo traveller. The owner knows how to cook a delicious home meal! The service is absolutely on point. To top it, the rooms are super clean, not a single speck anywhere and its using all newly renovated lights, showers and air conditioner. It looks better in person than in the photos they provide - thats rare. The location is also optimal, and they do free luggage drop off at Huangshanbei which is super convenient. I will definitely be coming back if I come back to visit Huangshan in a different season. Thank you very much 叔叔和阿姨！

It's a newly opened Hilton. As soon as you enter the lobby, you're greeted by the fish lanterns of Huizhou, which you absolutely have to take a picture of. The front desk staff were also very welcoming, recommending nearby attractions and restaurants serving Huizhou cuisine. Most importantly, they arranged a room for me that I was very satisfied with. The internet was excellent, the room was clean and comfortable, and it was great value for money. I will definitely choose this hotel again next time I come to Huangshan.

We were a group of 8 people and had an unforgettable stay here. The hotel owner is one of the kindest and most helpful people we’ve ever met. From the moment we arrived, he welcomed us warmly, gave us great local recommendations, and even personally drove us to each destination!
On the day we went hiking in the mountains, he provided us with free walking sticks. He helped us with everything — arranging transfers, buying entrance tickets, and planning the route. He also allowed us to check in early and check out late, which was incredibly convenient.
I shared room 8303 with my friend. The room is designed for two people and had two separate beds, both very comfortable to sleep in. There was also an air conditioner in the room, which made our stay even more pleasant.
Another thing we’re super grateful for — the owner kindly let us do laundry. After hiking in the mountains, our clothes definitely needed it!
The view from the window was absolutely stunning. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, full of natural light, and have plenty of power outlets. The showers were great, with clean water and convenient showerheads. There were all the necessary toiletries: body soap, shampoo — we recommend bringing your own conditioner if needed.
The hotel can also prepare food for guests. We really enjoyed the tomato and egg noodles — delicious and homey.
There’s also a local café nearby where we had breakfast a few times.
The hotel is located in the mountains, perfectly positioned for visiting nearby attractions, waterfalls, hiking spots, and even riding quad bikes.
A tip: bring a good quality raincoat if you’re visiting during rainy weather!

TTengdashuaiThis is the first time I've ever felt compelled to write a positive review for a hotel. The room was spotlessly clean and comfortable, and the balcony offered a stunning view. Breakfast was diverse, with a wide selection of both Chinese and Western options; the Chinese cuisine, in particular, was excellent. But what truly stood out was the hotel's exceptional service. They offered a complimentary private car service for pick-up and drop-off to the hotel. They even arranged tailored pick-up and drop-off services for our subsequent trip to Huangshan and thoughtfully provided us with raincoats and hiking poles. Overall, it was an absolutely perfect stay!

YYida88Our family of 13 recently spent three nights at Shanyu Life and Huangshan Design hotel and the experience was delightful. The location is excellent—about a 10‑minute drive from the Huangshan park entrance—yet the hotel sits in a quiet area surrounded by mountains and tea plantations. The hotel’s free shuttle to Huangshan was extremely convenient for a group of our size. The resort offers spacious rooms with high‑quality finishes and fittings; All 7 of our rooms were beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean, with comfortable bedding and bathroom amenities that made for a very relaxing stay. The property is so tastefully designed that we were content to simply linger in the common areas after breakfast, sipping tea or practicing Chinese calligraphy in the serene setting.
The highlight of our visit was the outstanding service from the staff, who were consistently caring, attentive, and proactive in anticipating our needs. They handled several ad‑hoc requests even before our arrival and continued to go above and beyond throughout our stay so that every member of our family felt well looked after.
We particularly enjoyed the welcome hot tea while hotel owner Fang Fei introduced many interesting places to visit around Huangshan. The team also arranged a half‑day excursion to Mukeng Village Bamboo Forest, where the movie Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon was filmed, and it was amazing climbing the hills through such dense bamboo forest. After long days of sightseeing and mountain climbing, it was a joy to return to the resort, where a warm and hearty dinner awaited us, making it feel like coming home each evening. Fang Fei is also a tea master, and she not only taught us a lot about Huangshan’s famous teas but also hosted a tea‑appreciation and meditation session for us, which was exactly what our family needed after hectic travels through many Chinese cities before arriving in Huangshan.
Their professionalism, kindness, and attention to detail made our stay truly memorable, and this hotel is highly recommended to anyone planning to visit Huangshan.

GGuest UserThe hotel's butler service was truly excellent. We arrived after watching the sunset and had brought our own food, deciding not to go for the buffet. Immediately, they sent up two bowls of hot noodle soup, saying it was for the kids to have something warm. A little later, they brought orange juice from the lobby (with 'Huangshan' written on the bottle; we kept the empty bottle to take a photo with the sunrise the next morning). In the evening at 6:58 PM, there were performances of Huangmei Opera and fish lantern dances in the lobby, all performed by the staff. After the show, they sent up foot-soaking mugwort packets, fruit, and Huangshan shortbread as a souvenir. The next morning, they delivered two coffees and bottled water, but we didn't pick them up as we didn't want to carry them, and there was already enough water in the room. The butler provided attentive care throughout the night and morning. The soundproofing in our downstairs room was quite good, so we slept very well. We saw all of Huangshan's monkeys, sea of clouds, sunrise, sunset, rime ice, and strangely shaped rocks. The snow scenery on Huangshan was stunning, staying on the mountain was definitely the right choice!

WWee Meng SengWe are a family of four. We enjoyed our stay at the Hotel thoroughly. It was so relaxing and peaceful. The Hotel was surrounded by mountains but it has all the facilities of a five star Hotel. As it was winter we didn't use the swimming pool but we had a fun time soaking in the outdoor hot springs. Both the dinner and breakfast were delicious and the ingredients were of the best quality. The reception was warm and professional. The young men and lady running the place gave us excellent advice on how to climb the mountain. Overall, I recommend this Hotel to anyone who wants an excellent time at the mountain base before climbing the mountain and to recoup after the climb before returning to the hustle and bustle of city life.

I booked a long stay here as a retreat and break from the work and it is exactly everything I need to unwind and recharge.
The guesthouse ran by a husband and wife team are so hospitable and go the extra mile to make sure my stay here is relaxing and I have everything I need to work and go about my day.
The room i am staying in is very brightly lighted with a desk for me to work. I have to say the bed is also very comfortable and I have been sleeping well every night.
The surrounding is so peaceful and tranquil, with gardens and flowers and mountain peaks in the distance. I am rather glad I am staying here in the valley instead of near the centre.
In terms of service, the boss is very helpful and responsive to my messages when we need to ask any question or require a pick up after the hikes. The lady boss is similarly extremely friendly, warm and kind and ensure my needs and well being is looked after every day. She cared for me like her own family.
I really appreciate them going the extra mile to help a foreigner like me who struggle with the language.
I would strongly recommend this lovely and cosy guesthouse to any local and foreigner who is looking for an amazing visit to Huangshan for a few days or up to a month. They will ensure you are well taken care of and your stay is absolutely delightful.

The hotel staff were very warm and attentive; they even upgraded us to a family room for free. When the screen mirroring in the room was a bit spotty, the staff promptly helped resolve the issue. They also quickly sent an auntie (staff member) when we needed assistance. Overall, I'm quite satisfied.

The Anhui restaurant across the street, recommended by the owner, has great food and is affordable. The room is spacious with plenty of hot water, perfect for families, featuring one large bed and one 1.5-meter single bed. The decor has an industrial style. It's a very cost-effective option for a family of three. The owner's pick-up and drop-off service was also warm and punctual. 'Climb Huangshan and no other mountain is worth seeing' – what a perfect end to the trip!

XXiaoshuchenMisooHi Secluded Wonderland Hotel exceeded all expectations with a perfect score! The room was spacious and airy, with a well-thought-out layout that made it easy to move around. The cleanliness was impeccable; even the corners were spotless. It offered incredible value for money – I was genuinely surprised by the quality at this price point.
The bed was the absolute highlight: king-sized with a mattress that was just the right balance of soft and firm. I felt instantly enveloped, leading to a fantastic night's sleep that completely melted away my travel fatigue. What was most thoughtful was that the hotel proactively contacted me to offer a shuttle service. The driver was punctual and provided excellent service, saving me the hassle of finding my way and carrying luggage. Their attention to detail was top-notch.
The environment was picturesque, the service was attentive, and the facilities were comfortable. I'll definitely choose this hotel first on my next trip to Huangshan. Highly recommend!

There is no elevator in the B&B. The owner is very enthusiastic to help us move our luggage. The service is super good!
The owner is very nice. The driver of the carpool from Hongcun to Tangkou did not send us to the door of the B&B. The owner came to pick us up. He also sent us to the entrance of Huangshan at 5 o'clock the next day. The boss really worked hard. The driver from Huangshan to the high-speed rail station was also contacted by the boss. He is really responsible
We had dinner at the B&B. All five dishes were delicious and the price was very affordable. I was very satisfied
The scenery in front of the B&B is very good and it looks good for taking pictures
