Great location and friendly staff. Booking through trip.com made it a simple process. The “room with a view” turned out to be a view of the people queuing up for a group tour all throughout the day just outside... Gotta use the curtains for privacy, and for keeping the heat in. Breakfast is very subpar, however. The only decent restaurant available during my stay (Chinese New Year) was the KFC.

Really glad booked this hotel — the room is very clean and spacious. Located inside of a holiday compound, facing a beautiful looking lake. It sets back from the main road so it is very quiet in the night. Free shuttle service to the train station and the Hua mountain tourist centre. Will stay again next time.

The reservation description said that it opened in 2019, so the setup and maintenance are a bit poor, and the sink and basin drain very slowly. In addition, there are many tour groups, and the hotel is quite noisy. My car was parked in the open-air parking space opposite the hotel gate. I thought it was free, but after leaving the hotel and about to get on the highway, I found a QR code for payment under the wiper. It's not worth going back for 6 yuan, but why did no one take the initiative to inform me of parking matters from check-in to check-out?

Pros: Amazing staff, they go above and beyond to service you. We were picked up from train station on time and the manager showed me a map of Huashan mountain and also provided us with gloves. Very helpful. Breakfast was good. Room was massive with its own kitchen and sofa. Cons: Bathroom is leaking, kitchen is leaking, toilet is wet, doesn't flush properly. Lots of cleaning issues. Cigarette smell was bad (pretty common in many Chinese hotels). Unfortunately because of many plumbing issues, leaking etc I can't really recommend this place.

If you are not well prepared, do not climb Huashan at night. Adequate preparation means: 1. Have enough physical strength (about 4-5 hours of hiking, except for the gentle slope at the beginning, all the steps behind are straight up, some slopes are 60°+, which requires a certain amount of physical accumulation), 2. Have complete equipment (raincoat, hat, hiking shoes, gloves, headlamp, backpack, food that quickly replenishes calories, and there are also some supply points along the way), 3. Suitable weather (the temperature should not be too low at night, there should be no rain, snow and strong winds, and I personally think that only summer is suitable). It took me 7 hours to climb alone from Yuquanyuan to Dongfeng on a rainy day at night. I met no more than 10 people throughout the whole process, and only met 2 people on the way up, and was persuaded to turn back by the people who were going down. The overall difficulty was underestimated. After passing the North Peak, it started to be windy and rainy and the temperature dropped. The quality of the raincoat was not good and it leaked and the whole body was soaked. I only relied on willpower and chocolate to hold on. Now I am afraid when I think about it, after all, hypothermia or slipping are serious life-threatening. So the recommended plan is to take the cable car to the North Peak, stay one night at the North Peak and have a good rest, get up early to watch the sunrise at the East Peak, and then go to the South Peak and West Peak and get off the cable car from the West Peak. If you are well prepared, you can consider hiking from Yuquanyuan to the North Peak and staying one night. It is not recommended to climb to the East Peak at night. It is not safe and consumes a lot of energy, and you can't see any scenery along the way at night. Back to the hotel itself, it is a standard ten-person guesthouse configuration. The toilet is outdoors and a little far away. Washing also needs to be outdoors and water is supplied at fixed times. The indoor electric oil heater can dry clothes and shoes, and the administrator's office can get hot water. It is next to the Yaozi Fanshen and not far from the Changkong Plank Road. It is the first choice for accommodation when the weather is good and the sunrise is beautiful.
