Great hotel! I've been coming here several times almost every year, and it's consistently excellent. The front desk staff member was very warm, attentive, and efficient. The room was spacious, clean, and had no peculiar smells.

The room was amazing, truly spacious! I'll definitely stay at this hotel whenever I get the chance. It has a beach, hot springs, and even allows pets, so the kids loved it and I could finally relax! It's one of the best-equipped hotels in the area. Highly recommended!

The room was clean and tidy with a great view. The staff were also very friendly and accommodating, and the overall atmosphere was very relaxed. It's a great spot for a family vacation. The pool water was clean and clear. Highly recommended! 😊

Honestly, my check-in experience on the first day was already bad, but I endured it because the external environment and infrastructure were decent. In the end, the service issues made me jump back and forth between leaving a good and a bad review, and I ultimately decided to give a definite bad review. 1. Service 1/5, the worst part. It made me feel like this hotel is a complete amateur operation. First, check-in took forever. There weren't even that many people, but the front desk staff was incredibly slow. They claimed it was because guests had too many questions, but it wasn't the guests' fault. Common questions about activities, hotel information, breakfast/dinner, the pool, etc., could easily be handled with a single information sheet, but they don't provide one. Of course, guests need to ask, and all those questions accumulated make the process incredibly long. Second, on the night of check-in, someone knocked on my door. By the time I got up to answer, a staff member had already opened the door and walked in. They said they were delivering a fruit platter. Honestly, in that moment, I was incredibly awkward and speechless. A fruit platter is a nice gesture, but could the welcome fruit platter please be delivered *before* check-in? Not when the guest hasn't even agreed to let you in, only for you to open the door, happily put down the fruit platter, and then smugly take another plate from the cabinet. This also clearly shows a problem with their service process. Finally, the most outrageous part. On the third morning, after breakfast, I took my child to the pool. At 10:30 AM, the large outdoor pool was cordoned off and closed (the water in their children's pool is freezing cold – you either play in the sun until you're roasted, or in a slightly shaded area where kids shiver). When I asked a staff member, the only reply was that it was closed because there was no one (no staff). I called the front desk to ask them to send someone to deal with it. The person who came seemed to be a supervisor, and their first words were, “The children’s pool is open, why didn’t you go there?” completely shifting the blame onto the guest. Excuse me? I directly explained the reason to the staff member, and they told me not to argue, saying that if I'm out, I should be happy. I spent nearly 3k to come here and enjoy, and you’re going to make me upset and then *judge* me as a guest?? 2. Environment 4/5. The location has an advantage; there's only a park nearby, and the other buildings around are mostly unfinished, so there are few other tourists. The beach is clean and next to the park. 3. Infrastructure 3/5. The building and decor are old and outdated, offering poor value for money. The three pools are all a decent size. The hot spring water makes your hands prune as soon as you put them in. 4. Room Type 1/5. I specifically booked a 'waterside' room, which means you can directly access a water channel from your room. However, this channel only gets sun in the morning, and the water is extremely cold. Huizhou is boiling hot right now, so it's not even good for swimming in the afternoon. You're shivering after playing for ten minutes. Plus, there were broken ceramic shards. Also, all these rooms are in Zone 2, close to the pool and hot spring area, and the soundproofing is terrible. People are coming and going, making noise until almost 10 PM. What's more, this room type, which is more expensive than the standard rooms, doesn't have a bathtub. The front desk's reply was matter-of-fact: 'There just isn't one.' 5. Breakfast 1/5. Disgusting. It’s been a long time since I’ve eaten such awful, stingy, and served in a tiny breakfast area, hotel breakfast. In short, spending almost 3k to celebrate Children's Day here was a huge mistake. P.S. Check-out was hilarious. The front desk asked robotically if I was satisfied. My husband started to mention the pool issue, and before he could finish, the person on the other side immediately replied, 'Our pool isn't open all day.' It was truly laughable. The entire hotel's culture seems to be 'we have no problems, the guests have problems,' right? P.P.S. The previous guest's eyebrow pencil and hair ties were stubbornly left behind.

We visited on Children's Day, which was a Sunday. We arrived around 2 PM and there was a huge queue for check-in. I suggest opening more counters when it's busy, as having to wait in line after traveling a long way really sours the first impression. Once we got to the room, we found a layer of dust on the table when we touched it, and there was still a pair of slippers from the previous guest. There was even sand on the bed. Those were the downsides. On the positive side, the sand on the beach was very fine, and the staff were all incredibly patient and friendly. The hotel's facilities were great for kids, and at checkout, they even asked about our stay and gave our child a small gift. All in all, if the hygiene was better, it would have been a perfect score.

Came to the hotel early to celebrate Children's Day with the kids, and it was absolutely fantastic! The pool is incredibly beautiful, and the beach has super fine sand. The petting zoo is very well-maintained and has alpacas, ducks, tortoises, goats, rabbits, and marmots that you can feed. The little goats chasing the kids around were so cute! In the evening, we had a BBQ by the sea, followed by an amazing bonfire party and fireworks – it was simply incredible! We'll definitely be back!

First off, I booked two nights for 3200 RMB, looking forward to a happy family vacation with my child. The good points are definitely the numerous swimming pools and the beach, which was uncrowded and clean. The rest, however, are all complaints, so if you're not interested, feel free to skip ahead. 1. We booked a family room, which essentially has two bedrooms. However, the lights in both bedrooms are linked, meaning they must be turned on and off simultaneously. Seriously, do they expect everyone to go to sleep at the same time? You can't turn on just one light. Their own staff tried 'hundreds' of times and couldn't get it to work. 2. I thought, since I can't turn them on separately, a small bedside lamp in the other room would suffice. Well, the small lamp was broken. Their engineer also tried and couldn't get it to turn on. 3. And you think that's the end of it? The central air conditioning in the room has one vent in the living room and one in the master bedroom, but only one vent was blowing air. The first engineer actually told me this was correct – that the master bedroom vent isn't supposed to blow air? Sorry, what's the point of installing central AC if it doesn't blow air? 4. And it gets better – four or five people entered and exited our room without changing into slippers or wearing shoe covers, even though we were barefoot. 5. After confirming the AC was broken and the lighting design was flawed, the duty manager apologized awkwardly and couldn't explain anything. In the end, for our family of four, he offered a complimentary dinner for two. It was 11 PM at night. I can afford this room, but now I have to stay up late and be humiliated? They cause problems and offer us a dinner for two, and we're supposed to then spend more money for the other two people? 6. I saw on Ctrip that they had a five-diamond rating. I used to think this meant five-star, so I asked him, 'How can you charge like a five-star when you clearly aren't?' His reply was, 'We never said we were a five-star hotel, but we offer five-star service.' Based on the five points above, I couldn't find a single thing related to five-star service. I came back furious and complained. 7. I complained to Ctrip, and the duty manager said he would call me that day, but he didn't. He also told me that I didn't respond to his offer of the dinner for two. Thanks, I'll avoid this place forever. I'm sharing this experience for all families traveling with children, highlighting the potential issues. How can they charge 3200 for two nights in Huizhou? Even a 1k-a-night place in Shuangyue Bay Yinsha offers better service. Just sharing my experience with everyone.
