The rooms were spacious and clean, offering a sea view right from the window. The hotel boasts facilities such as a library and an infinity pool, and there's a complimentary shuttle service to the beach. Both the buffet breakfast and dinner were very extensive and delicious. I was extremely satisfied! The pleasant surprise began the moment we stepped into the lobby: the 'Star Butler' service was outstanding and incredibly attentive. Everywhere you looked, there was a vast expanse of blue and endless horizons, enhanced by a refreshing cross-breeze.

Some of the hotel's facilities are still under development, and the ongoing construction of the building next door was a minor inconvenience. However, the Star Butler service was excellent. I absolutely adored their 'One Drop Water Library' – it's incredibly picturesque, and the spiral staircase in the Cliff Art Museum is also fantastic for photos. The beach directly in front of the hotel was spotless. Our room was spacious and offered stunning views. The hotel staff provided attentive and thoughtful service. The beach was so gorgeous that we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. We'll definitely be returning!

It's pretty good overall. It's quite close to the beach, and despite its 4.4 online rating, I found it to be better than I anticipated. They offer a frequent shuttle service to the beach. There are also performances, which are great for photos and social media check-ins. You can even order food delivery for meals. My only minor complaint was the long wait for breakfast noodle soup.

The hotel is perched on a hilltop. To be honest, I didn't plan this trip at all; it was completely spontaneous! The front desk service was excellent, and our 'Star Butler' (Xingxing Guanjia) was exceptionally thoughtful, checking in on us and making sure we had everything we needed. I genuinely want to extend my heartfelt thanks to her for her truly five-star service! The "One Drop Water Library" and "Cliff Pavilion" are definitely the highlights of the hotel. My first regret is that the weather wasn't cooperative, so we couldn't go down to the beach for a swim. Secondly, being summer vacation, there were many children around, making it quite noisy. My third disappointment was that the cleanliness didn't quite match the hotel's price tag. This is my genuine and honest experience, and I hope other Ctrip users will also leave truthful reviews to provide reliable guidance for future guests. Breakfast was just average, but the ocean view was fantastic!

Many often-criticized aspects – the beach being far from the hotel, seeing hillside graves, unfinished buildings, and limited food and drink options nearby – were all acceptable to me. For hotels in Shuangyue Bay, especially considering summer prices, it still offered good value for money. However, a significant issue arose when taking the golf cart from the hotel to the mountain base: if you sat on the right side, water would splash onto you from puddles as the cart passed. Anyone wearing white would immediately get stained, looking like a dalmatian. I had paid the in-hotel photography service for a photoshoot at the 'One Drop of Water' Library, but the 'HD negatives' they sent were surprisingly only a few hundred KB – less than 1MB. Distant figures were completely blurry and lacked clarity. To make matters worse, I hadn't even selected photos for retouching yet, and the original raw photos had already been deleted. My travel schedule made it impossible to return for a reshoot.

The elevators were excruciatingly slow; we often had to wait 5-6 minutes for one. There was a dirty stain on the duvet. During my evening shower, the water cut out halfway through! After complaining, it eventually came back on. I asked for the manager to call me back, but no one ever bothered to follow up. And to make things worse, the hard pillow reeked of mildew. Hands down, this is the worst hotel.

At around 500-600 RMB on weekdays, it offers great value for money, though weekends are a bit pricier. Dining options in the vicinity are somewhat limited, as the hotel only serves breakfast and dinner. The hotel pool is very clean, and there's also a small water park, though it only features a few slides. Overall, choosing Yun Ding is a great option for a family trip!

Terry did an excellent job arranging for all three of our rooms to be on the same floor. Every detail, from the plush beds to the luxurious bathroom amenities, ensured ultimate comfort. The hotel also boasts a range of modern facilities, including a library and an infinity pool that's perfect for photos, catering to the diverse needs of its guests. Terry at the front desk was also incredibly helpful.

Good nice experience in China

To be honest, Trip.com should not promote hotels of this standard. The breakfast was subpar—predominantly Chinese dishes with little variety—and the hotel restaurant offered no à la carte menu. Additionally, the beach was extremely dirty, the lobby felt cramped, and the elevators were unacceptably slow; no elevator connection to the parking, the list of issues goes on. It seems the images Trip.com used to promote this hotel are misleading, if not entirely fake. The platform must refrain from promoting such establishments; otherwise, customers like us will undoubtedly lose trust in it altogether.

When checkin hotel, I feel that they don't have enough experience for foreigners with many cases. But JK is working for the front-desk and he tried to help whenever I have some questions. He was best & best service for us. Thanks for his effort during staying for 3 days. Hotel is not busy due to no eason. Agreed that this hotel is for Instagrammable Hotels in Huizhou as Trip.com marked. Nice view. But total 3 buidings are doing construction. only one hotel is working. There is only one resturant in hotel but Chinese menu with no photo & no room service. So we went there every time during staying for 3 days. When I reviewed the website of Ctrip, it seems to be very close between hotel & beach. But it's so far to go to beach by walk even if they are serving the electric cart. There are many nails in the room insted of fixing tower hanger in bathroom, No drawing in room(just nails on bed & desk). And no handle inside shower booth. And there are many molds the end of each corner on ceiling. Also smells like mold if Airconditioner turn off. I am sure this hotel will be nice in the future when other 3 buildings open.

Friendly & helpful staff. Amazing breakfast buffet with a variety of options both western & Chinese. All the food was delicious! Rooms were spacious & tastefully decorated. Soft bath towels & robes. Ocean view rooms & great amenities. There are 3 pools and a private beach area, the hotel provides a shuttle down to the beach. Excellent service.
