"I had a very nice stay. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room itself was a great size and very comfortable. Having a fridge was fantastic, as I was able to grab some bits from Tesco and put them in there. The complementary water was a lovely touch, and the coffee machine was fantastic and exactly what I needed after I arrived and in the morning. I also really liked the vanity mirror for getting ready, as I was going to a wedding. The lighting in the room was great; I really liked the options that were there. The TV was also great and worked well. The bed was very comfortable and warm, also the chairs and footstool were a great touch and comfortable. The breakfast was fantastic; it had everything you would want. It was cooked well and tasted lovely. I also felt safe in the hotel, and I liked the fact you couldn't get past the seventh floor without a keycard. It was also the hotel felt very accessible from a disability point of view. I've recently had health complications, and this was the first time I have stayed away from home by myself. I felt like I could get everywhere I needed with difficulty and support was available if required. There were parts of the room which were a bit tatty, in the sense of holes in some of the wooden furniture. This did not affect my stay but from a Premier Inn point of view, presentation wise, it's a shame. The hair drier in the room kept cutting out, I think the wire may have been faulty. I had brought my own, so it wasn't a problem for me but if I hadn't that would have been a big issue as I was going to a wedding. There was one glass in my room that hadn't been cleaned properly or it hadn't been noticed it had been used. There was lipstick on the rim. It was only me in the room, so I choose to set it aside and just use the one, but it was annoying that had been missed. From a cleanliness point of view and I only had the one glass to use. I had received an email saying the aircon wasn't working in the room, only to find out on the morning I was leaving that it was actually working. That was a bit frustrating. The only other thing I noted was the lack of storage space. I understand it’s a hotel room, there is limited space, and some people may not unpack. But a little draw or cupboard space under the vanity mirror would be slightly useful, just to put the little things you may bring. This is purely a personal thing though, as I didn't want to leave my suitcase open on the floor. But all in all, I had a great stay and would stay with you again."

"I was just disappointed of the initial checkin as I got in my room my request was never made. Very simple. I ask the 2 single beds to be combined to make it bigger. But nope. The late checkouts despite of willing to pay extra was just as it is. I could pay an extra night if I have to if they said so but no. We were from night shift of work and finished at 7 am that we got to the hotel at 7:30 and after breakfast few minutes of rest then we slept off. We got a call at 11 telling us about the checkout and told them I have already asked for the late checkout for extra charges but its only for 2 hours. Nothing more. The attendant started banging the door telling us to checkout as she needed to changed the sheets and so on and so for. We find it really rude."

"hotel itself is good very clean and tidy - location was difficult to get to from hull station as all walking paths seem to be blocked off ended up getting uber here. I stayed when there was a party downstairs so kids kept coming up to pop balloons in my door but after i told reception it stopped all in all will stay again"

"Booked the hotel as it was across the road from my place of work. No booking in just an email with the outer door code and the codes for the kitchen area and bedroom. No issues getting in and getting to the room. I was in room 5 which is a double bed with a small chair placed next to the bed. There is also an en-suite with a shower, wash basin and WC. Initial impressions were good the room looked nice and clean. However I was apparent that the tiled walls in the en-suite could do with a good clean as running a finger along the tile’s revealed a finger end of grey dust. Had issues with the TV no instructions how to log it into the WiFi. Not to be defeated I used my own dongle to watch the channels. One thing I like about a room is quite to get a good nights sleep. This was not to happen just after midnight police sirens followed by the screech of tyres out side the place slamming of doors and raised voices followed by the occupants being nicked but it protracted until assistance turned up. Managed to get to sleep then the heavy steps of a youngster who was in the room above this went on until 5 am every few minutes backwards and forwards. So I do up showered and had to go to deal with a family member who had been admitted to hospital. The kitchen area was used it was ok but was missing tea towels to dry the crockery and cutlery. The hotel states it supplies milk, I would question that as the milk in the door was out of gate and a carton of UHT milk which was opened not my type of good milk. Finally there is a Hot tub costs £20 per hour plus £10 for each additional person. Had a look but with work no time. The location while central is near to a not to desirable area. There is on street parking 2 hours free but not to return within 5 hours. There is the Anlaby Road station car park Across the road £6 a day starts at 00:01 hours to 23:59. So would I use it again not with the noise issues. It needs some tweaking a good deep clean Tiled walls) and the TVs need an instruction card."

"We stayed here for 2 nights over a weekend in March, we were amazed at the place, it's so clean, tidy and well presented, we had a 2 bedroomed apartment and there were 5 of us staying, they even put a small childs bed up in the main bedroom for us as they knew we had a small child with us. The bathrooms were excellent and extremely clean, infact the whole place was immaculately clean and fresh everywhere, the beds are so comfortable and the pillows are the most comfortable pillows I've ever slept on, I'm going to email and ask where they get their pillows from so I can get them for home 😆. The communication was spot on before arrival, the instructions were clear and precise and totally stress free. The location doesn't get any better than this place too, literally 5 minutes or less from The Deep, Connexin Live, City Centre, Shopping centres, Old Town and the Marina. 100% will choose here anytime i need accommodation in Hull in future"

"Disappointed to discover on arrival that both our bedroom windows were shrouded by scaffolding on the exterior. And there were notices in all the public areas advising of building work. And indeed every morning on the dot of 8am loud drilling and banging started. Wrote to complain on our return only to be told that there was notification on the check-in form, which I have to confess we never saw. But the point I made was why only inform customers of scaffolding and building work AFTER they have booked and paid and just prior to check-in; this notice should have appeared on the company website so one was aware BEFORE booking. Did not get satisfactory response, in fact in my opinion the response was rude and aggressive. So unnecessary. In addition the bathroom was very small (toilet butts right up against sink). Towels are small and the coffee supplied sachets of Nescafe! Unusual not to have pod coffee machine these days"

"Friendly welcoming staff in a traditional pub hotel, the bar was busy with friendly customers. The accommodation was at the top up 2 flights of stairs and well worth it, great space, well decorated and airy, views out onto the marina - excellent. Big comfy extra large bed in separate bedroom with a small but perfectly functional en-suite and a large free standing bath in the bedroom. I can’t think of anything negative to say at all. The parking if free in a retail park 50 yards from the front door, we arrived early and the security staff on site added our car to the free system which was good too. Short walk across a bridge into Hull old town loads of history, bars and restaurants and more trendy bars next to the marina. The food in the hotel was reasonably priced and very tasty, served quickly - we tried to eat there a 2nd but were too late - our bad! A great relaxing weekend break - thanks"
