This is a big hotel but is a bit old. It is located out of the city but taking a taxi to the city is just less than 10 minutes where I paid 8 yuan. I even walk from the Genghis Khan Square 成吉思汗广场 to the hotel, about 10 bus stops. The room was big and clean. The staff were approachable and gave me advice to take the coach instead of train to Manzhouli as it was be faster. The nearest restaurant is about 20 minutes’ walk. There is a square about 5 minutes’ walk from the restaurants where the locals sing and dance. This is very entertaining. There is no much attraction in Hailar. I only stayed there for 2 nights. Overall, my stay was satisfactory.

This is my first time seeing a hotel provide a mop. I initially thought it was a thoughtful touch, but then I realized the floor design was terrible. Water doesn't drain down the pipes; instead, it pools towards the door and never flows out. I've never encountered such a ridiculously designed bathroom. No wonder they provide a mop – it's like they expect you to push the water out yourself!

It was a nice hotel with friendly staff. Although hulunbuir is a small town, but this hotel is closer to the airport and a little far from the city center
