We came to Howard Springs caravan park to meet up with some friends who were caravanning around Australia. We stayed in a ensuite cabin with a seperate bedroom and bunk beds situated in the hall way. The cabin had all that you need for a comfortable stay. The park is set in a nice setting and is not overly large so you can get around easily. There are two pools to pick from and one is adults only,there also plenty of facilities for young ones playground,games room,water playground. The park is not to far from town and also nearby are the highways access to NT national parks etc

I arrived on the 5th of July and left on the 19th of July Whilst there an electrician was working on the power supply that we were connected to, turning the power off and on numerous times, we thought nothing of this until it was time to leave Went to pull the power cable out of the caravan and one of the pins from the caravan had fused to the power lead contacted them via the phone, no answer sent them a reply email to the one they send you asking how your stay was No reply contacted head office,they said that they are individually franchised So there as a power surge, and it is Gunna cost me a considerable amount Left a very bad taste in my mouth and will not recommend this park to anyone e speak to

Great park. Nice pools. Washing machines are dodgy though, stole my money. Great hosts and friendly staff. Loved the individual shower and loo amenities. Fab little IGA 1km walk or bike and the tavern is there too.

This place is the worst place I have ever stayed at. The cabin we are staying in is absolutely terrible the bed is so tiny me and wife don’t fit smallest double I ever seen. I’m 6’1 and my feet hang over the edge of the bed as well. The fridge is tiny can’t fit much food in there at all. There is no tongs or much cooking appliances and utensils. The range hood don’t work either the fan only works on level 3 as well. The beds ain’t that comfy either very hard and ridged also we had an ant infestation as well. We moved the couch and found an old dry spill that they never bothered to clean we had to clean it. Don’t leave food unwrapped ants will get into it as well. They never made the top bunk bed. Would not recommend these cabins at all was a complete disaster. Pools are absolutely freezing and dirty as well. Splash pool was hardly ever on. Water got turned off twice in the 14 days we stayed here as well.

The grounds are well maintained, however the staff are rude & reluctant to help in any form. They allocate you a spot then squash you in like sardines, you are that close to your fellow travellers that you can hear them fart, I would highly suggest don’t use this park.

Very nice park with lovely swimming pool and kitchen facilities. The cabin was clean and well equipped. My only fault was the smoke alarm which went off a few times during the night and there was no one to call to come and fix it. Difficult to walk around the park as is so wet from all the sprinklers

Disgraceful customer service! First I was provided a site for my tent full of tree roots, then halfway through my set up at next site, I was told NO Tent's allowed at the park by management and I had to find somewhere else to go. When asked where they couldn't tell me. Next day I was told to remove my tent as it has a floor and it was killing the grass (I have photo proof of green grass after we left), then came back to site to find tent pegs removed and told it was my son! I can't believe the way I was treated especially as a local (The only local in the park then). Lucky Darwin is small and word has gotten out quick about the place.
