Clean tidy

Dirty and unsanitary. There was no soap in the bathrooms / toilet so only those people who took soap with them could properly wash their hands after going to the loo. There are 2 kitchens, one ground floor, one second. The fridge on the ground floor was dirty and the freezer positively disgusting. I used the one on the top floor which was also dirty but less so. I was sick and had the trots 36 hours after staying here, although not conclusive, I suspect that it was due to infection from other guests touching handles and surfaces after going to the toilet and not being able to wash their hands. Apparently, there were 22 guests staying that night. However, there are only 2 bathrooms on the ground floor, 1 on the first floor and none at all on the second floor. That isn't enough. There were long queues to go to the bathroom. The room was hot but you could only partially open the tiniest of windows. Now to the noise. I'm in my 60s and can say that this is the worst soundproofed place that I have ever stayed in in my life. The building shook as people walked around and it had the acoustics of a guitar. Also, half of the light bulbs didn't work. The only positives were its ideal location for visiting the rock, especially if you want to do night or dawn photography. Could see a distant colony of seals from the bedroom window.
