After a long search and reading reviews, I decided to book Hunchun Railway Mingzhu Hotel. For just over 100 RMB, it exceeded my expectations. The room was a good size and very clean. The main advantage is its proximity to the train station, just a 15-minute walk or a 5 RMB taxi ride. The in-house restaurant served delicious stir-fries, with a authentic home-style flavor. A major plus was the free luggage storage. My dad and I went to Vladivostok for four days and left some of our luggage at Hunchun Railway Mingzhu Hotel, picking it up when we returned. The service was excellent, and we even had another Chinese meal there before leaving. The dishes were affordable; two of us ate our fill for 48 RMB. Overall, I highly recommend Hunchun Railway Mingzhu Hotel to anyone traveling to Russia from Hunchun. I rarely write such detailed reviews, but this place truly deserves a good mention to help others in need!

When traveling to Vladivostok from Hunchun, and returning to China from Vladivostok, I looked for a hotel closest to the high-speed rail station, and found the Gaotie Mingzhu Hotel. The hotel's location is excellent; it's a 5 RMB taxi ride from the international bus station. The rooms are large, and the twin beds are very comfortable. **Amenities**: Well-equipped with a sofa, dining table, and chairs. **Cleanliness**: Clean and tidy. **Environment**: Quiet and soundproof. **Service**: The staff were warm and attentive, helping me call a taxi to the high-speed rail station the next day. Some drivers are reluctant to take such a short trip, but the front desk assisted with booking a taxi.

The air conditioning was a bit noisy at night, but everything else was fine. It had all the usual amenities, was close to the high-speed train station, and even included breakfast. For just over a hundred (yuan), these minor drawbacks are acceptable.
