South Winchester Lodges

Fantastic lodge / luxurious and clean . Wonderful treats and everything you need in place . All the facilities were great and the shampoo and conditioner in the shower smelt gorgeous. The hot tub was sparkling clean and lovely and warm . Thank you for a great stay .

Lovely little break away! We had three nights here to enjoy the Christmas markets in Winchester. Hot tub lodge no11. The lodge was clean and thoughtfully catered for with tea towels, shampoo, washing liquid and a few DW tablets to hand. Lovely big bath sheets and very comfy beds. The hot tub was lovely, slightly basic but did the job. The putting green in the middle with putt/ balls available at the lodge is a lovely touch. It was my husbands 40th and a welcome balloon and card with the complimentary welcome tray awaited us which was so lovely. As it was Christmas the lodge had a wreath and Christmas tree also which was lovely. We made use of the therapist advertised by the lodges Lisa at Interblend came and completed massages for us both which was fantastic and very reasonable price wise I would recommend if you like a pamper! The smart tv was great but I’d suggest the lodge update the tv apps slightly as the channel 4 and itv are outdated and not completely usable which meant limited on selection and for us we had a young baby so did want to watch a movie together post hot tub in the evening. But either way we had a lovely time and would recommend. All staff we met were lovely and helpful.

We booked a couple of lodges for a long weekend in Winchester. We wanted somewhere local to the city with a chilled environment so we could relax as we all lead busy lives. We also loved hot tubs! The lodges were both well equipped and clean and spacious with everything we needed for our stay. There was a tray made up in each lodge with tea, coffee and snack which were all good quality. It was also great to have washing up liquid, dishwasher tablets and a couple of tea-towels in the kitchen to help with keeping everything clean. The beds were comfy and we all slept well and it was nice to have big bath sheets rather than small bath towels that you get in so many places. One evening we went to the golf club house for drinks in the evening before heading into Winchester for dinner. We sat on the terrace and enjoyed the evening sun with a G&T We opted for the very reasonably priced Sunday leave at your leisure upgrade which meant we could have a lazy morning in the hit tub and a hearty brunch before we all departed.

Lodge 16 - nowhere to put anything in the bathrooms. Maybe consider some shelving? No full length mirror either. Beds need changing, so uncomfortable - especially in the twin room. Again, no shelving or room to put anything. Only one shower, the other bathroom has a hand held one. Wasted space in the lounge with couches that need positioning better. It just needs a bit of TLC. It’s not 5 star and could do with a revamp.

Our family of 4 stayed for 2 nights in the 2 bed lodge with hot tub. Upon first impressions everything was great, as expected. The lodge was enormous yet cosy with high ceilings and large rooms, heating was on for when we arrived which was really pleasant as our stay aligned with some miserable and cold weather (which didn’t stop us using the hot tub). We had an issue on our first night which caused us a lot of concern, but after contacting the team through email it was swiftly resolved, and we received a very thoughtful apology and resolution which is why I have chosen not to mention the exact circumstances. Had our first night gone smoothly I would have offered 5* feedback, had the issue not been resolved I would have left 1*. Thankfully the service and communication of the lodges team was very efficient which is why I’ve given a 3* overall. The gentleman who water tested the hot tub was extremely polite and very friendly, he was very helpful during our stay.

We have just returned from a fantastic weekend, we stayed in a two bed lodge with hot tub and everything was first class. The communication from the company was excellent and we will definitely return. The location is good and I fully recommend a visit
