The hotel boasts excellent spatial design and a great sense of scale, and its location is superb. Strolling along the Taihu Lake embankment nearby is very pleasant. The hotel is a bit old, but the cleanliness is well-maintained. The professionalism of the hotel's service staff needs improvement. Breakfast selection is limited and the taste is average. The Chinese restaurant next to the lobby is quite good, with fresh ingredients.

Junlan Resort Hotel has always been one of my favorite hotels, and this stay didn't disappoint us either. The most commendable aspect was the lavish breakfast, which surpassed the quality offered by most star-rated hotels. The room decor showed a bit of age, but it was still clean and tidy, with no unpleasant odors. It was a good experience overall, and I'll definitely consider staying here again if I have the chance.

The hotel is right by Taihu Lake. You can walk through the hotel to Hubin Avenue, and from there, stroll along the lake enjoying the scenery all the way to Fisherman's Wharf and Moon Bay – it's incredibly convenient. The breakfast offers a rich variety, and the wontons, beancurd sheets, and beancurd wraps were all delicious.

The hotel's location is quite excellent. You can access Taihu Lake directly from the back door with your room card. Walking along the lake for about 15 minutes leads you to Fisherman's Wharf, where the landmark 'Toilet Lid' building is located. There are also many restaurants there, offering prime lake views and the famous 'Three Whites of Taihu Lake,' probably at every eatery. Back to the hotel itself, the room is very spacious and even has a walk-in closet. I loved that the toilet and sink are by Duravit, and they also provided a complimentary L'Occitane toiletries set, which was a nice touch. The hotel has hot springs that are open until 10 PM. There are individual outdoor pools, offering good privacy, which is perfect for a relaxing soak after a day out.

Overall, it was a great stay, perfect for a vacation. You can take a stroll by the lake, and even access it with your room key. The scenery is beautiful, and the breakfast offers a mix of Western and Chinese options. The service was very attentive and thoughtful! They arranged our rooms together and even gave us recommendations for nearby attractions. Definitely a top choice for a holiday.
