TAI LAKE DREAMLOHAS VILLA RESORT

This is my second stay at this hotel this year, and each time I've been given a free room upgrade. This trip, I brought my parents and uncle along, so I booked a large flat-level private hot spring villa with a pool. There's a pavilion in the backyard where you can relax and enjoy views of Taihu Lake. The room also had a mahjong table, which was perfect for a rainy day. The toilet in the room was supposed to be smart, but it wasn't working. The hotel service was excellent; when we took too much food at breakfast and didn't want to waste it, the staff kindly helped us pack it up. Overall, it was a good experience.

The room was nice and I was quite satisfied. The adjoining small villa was very quiet, and it had a private hot spring. When checking in, a personal butler added me on WeChat, so I could communicate with them about anything.

The ground-floor villa room was too damp, and there were bed bugs on the bed. Do they ever change the sheets? I woke up extremely itchy and scratched myself raw. I even found bed bugs on myself again within 3 days of checking out. I can only say the environment was okay, but the facilities are old and they don't do pest control. The hygiene is just terrible.

This two-bedroom connected villa at the Huzhou Taihu hotel is quite spacious. The second floor has a living room, dining room, and bathroom, while the bedrooms are on the third and fourth floors. The private hot spring is on the first floor, which also includes a shower room.

This lakeside pool courtyard villa is truly amazing! It's very spacious, and our favorite spot was the pavilion in the courtyard. We loved sitting there, enjoying the view, and just relaxing. The room was huge too, and my child kept playing hide-and-seek with me. We all had a wonderful time staying here. The hotel service was also excellent, with the butler always responding promptly.

Excellent! We were a group of three and upgraded to a three-bedroom villa. It had a private pool in the courtyard and was in a fantastic lakeside setting. One of the living rooms even had a mahjong machine, which was perfect for a trip with a few friends.

I had a fantastic stay! The butler and front desk staff were incredibly warm and friendly. They even upgraded our room to a four-story villa with a private hot spring inside, which was super comfortable. Excellent value for money!

Before the summer travel rush, we came to the Sheraton Huzhou Taihu Lake, just an hour and a half's drive from Shanghai, for a four-day stay in the villa area. Luckily, the hotel upgraded us to a two-bedroom villa and assigned a friendly young lady named Zi Qiong as our butler. She led us to our 'temporary home' and thoroughly explained all the facilities on each floor. Over the four days, she checked in with us daily and perfectly addressed all our needs. We also want to thank Ye Jinping from the hotel's recreation department. She found my wife's brand-new Apple Watch, which was left in the pool changing room, and promptly handed it over to Li Meirui at the front desk for safekeeping.

The hotel's environment is beautiful and very quiet. The room is huge, spread across three floors. There's a spacious living area and a kitchen upon entry. On the ground floor, there's a private hot spring, with fresh, hot water replenished daily – very relaxing to soak in. The second floor has two rooms, one with a king bed and one with a single bed. The view from the window is a lush bamboo forest, which is very pleasant to look at. Although dining and entertainment facilities are at the Sheraton, the shuttle service is available on call, making it very convenient. The hotel staff are also very welcoming, greeting you proactively and making you feel at ease. Our butler, Xiao Zi, was especially thoughtful and attentive, explaining everything about the hotel in detail, which made us feel right at home. The kids' club program was also excellent; my child had a great time playing with the hotel's young ladies and even asked to go back the next day, haha. This was a very satisfying vacation.
