Best Stay During Our 10-Day Iceland Trip We were in Iceland for 10 days doing the Ring Road and I think this was my favorite place we stayed. We were only there for one night but our room was comfortable and the lodgings were awesome. Great views. There was a communal kitchen and sitting area you could use which worked out great for us. Our group made charcuterie and hot dogs but some other groups there made pasta dinners. There were no TVs which we appreciated because we just ended up talking and laughing with drinks all night. We also popped into the hot tub for a bit as well. My favorite part was the horses. We didn’t take a riding trip but we did pop into the stables to give the horses some pets and ear scritches. They were all so sweet and goofy. I loved the Icelandic horses so much I ended up getting a tattoo of a horse when we got to Reykjavik. Great stay, couldn’t recommend enough.
